Staff support in all areas not good unless you spoke Spanish Locked out of room at 11 pm as bracelet didn’t work no one could help but found solution on app Ordered drinks never came had to reorder several times Buffett was consistent very good Hard to get reservations in all restaurants We were late for our reservation at JADE BECAUSE MAGIC show we had 2 small children in our party and they refused us Room service staff were sad and unfriendly Bar tenders pretended to look busy instead of attending to guests Luis at customer service building 27 was excellent We requested luggage pick up at end of stay no one showed up we had to follow up We were a building away from the rest of our party no one was helpful to change our rooms Never heard so many NO answers to our requests other resorts say with our pleasure and a smile Check in took a long time we were tired from travel and had 2 children with us. Told us to come back at 3 to get our bracelets and room and that was another wait process Overall we would not recommend the Royalton splash to anyone A lot of money spent for a mostly miserable stay and approached to buy timeshare absolutely not

Good variety of pools, bars, waterpark & beach access. Check-in / out could have been quicker and getting restaurant reservations was difficult. Expect to pay extra for prime times. Entertainment options can also be improved especially at the splash. If you want to be in close proximity to this book at the main Royalton Hotel.

Before you decide to stay here, know this. Bottled water is extremely hard to find. When dining or poolside the staff is not allowed to get you bottled water. The resort now has a purified water system that they expect you to drink from. It has a highly salty taste to it. This also reflects on the bad coffee that they serve you as well. They say that you should not drink the tap water in Punta Cana because you will get sick. The resort expects you to trust them and drink the new supposedly purified salty water. No thank you! You can drink all the beer, cocktails, soda, etc but bottled water is out of the picture except what they bring to your room or make you go find during the day to stay hydrated. We also stayed here to enjoy the water park but the electricity powering the park kept going out every 5-10 minutes shutting everything down. VERY DISAPPOINTED in our 4 day stay. My recommendation is to find a different resort to stay at.
