First impression
We visit family in Warwick a few times a year and always pick a hotel near the airport. This was our first time at the Hampton inn and we found the room to be clean and comfortable. They offered a very nice free breakfast which would be a bonus for families.

The hotel reeks of cigarette smoke. The first room we went into was not cleaned: sticky floor, not vacuumed, hair in the shower and toe nail Clippings on the floor in the bedroom! We requested another room and the front desk person didn’t even ask why and gave us a second room. The second room stank so strongly of cigarette smoke (smoke free sign outside the door), wasn’t vacuumed, and lights weren’t working. We asked for a refund which they processed and the front desk again didn’t question why or apologize. We ended up going to the hotel next door. We’re currently waiting for the refund to process, but clearly no one at this hotel cares or takes pride in providing a clean space

Hotel was just ok. I was very surprised when I checked in and they charged an extra $100 per night in incidental fees on my card. I’ve traveled a lot and one fee for the entire stay is typical not per night. For people traveling on a budget this could be difficult to have that hold on their card until they check out. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was clean and the staff was kind. The property overall NEEDS update. The main sliding doors were not working properly, the 5th FL has SCORCHING heating in the hallway, the room could use some painting and glue some stuff down. The rugs should be deep cleaned.The hot tub should be warmer and who on Earth would pay $8 for a small bag of chips?!

Nice place. Went here because of the free breakfast and pool for the kids. Plus one of the cheaper deals around. They will charge you a DAILY incidental fee of100$ that will be hold and released after. The room we were in only had the entryway light and the bedside. I had to ask for another lamp for the desk area so i can work. The room also feels like it was recently redone. The celing was high and sounds echos a bit. The pool was nice, pretty standard and kept warm.. Kids love that. They like the breakfast as well-standard selections of rehydrated eggs, potatoes and sausage or bacon. Waffle maker and oats.
