Recently remodeled, with central air conditioning, comfortably sleeps 6. Very close to Princeville shopping center, 3-minute walk to the Westin resort and right next to the path to Anini beach.

The large common area and lanai offer lots of gathering space. 3 bedrooms and bathrooms also allow for privacy when traveling with friends or multiple generations. The condo comes with a well-equipped kitchen and is fully stocked with fresh towels and linens. The interior is spacious and new. Large picture windows offer garden views, a glimpse of the ocean. Excellent breezes. There are two primary bedrooms with an ensuite bath. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds which can be made into a king. This room also has its own bath but it is shared with the common area. The Mauna Kai complex has a large swimming pool and multiple BBQs for guests. The condo is a short walk to the Westin Resort and Princeville Shopping Center. Golf and tennis are also in the resort.

Unit needs an overhaul
Disappointed is putting it mildly. We read the one other review just days before we left and were a little worried. By then it was too late to find something else. The unit was way overpriced for the condition. Stay somewhere else! The positives: • Location was nice – within walking distance to shopping center and park, the Westin and the view of the beach. • AC was nice. • The pool was nice. • The screened-in porch was nice. Now for the things that need attention… • There is a hole in the wall that needs patching in the twin bedroom. • The closet doors in the twin bedroom need to be replaced as they are floppy. • It would have been nice to have a cooler available. • This unit needs a lot of deep cleaning as there is dirt and dust on the woodwork. I dusted the hat rack some so we could use a couple of the hooks. The whole unit is old and tired. Maybe after cleaning, a good paint job would do wonders. • Almost all the dishes are chipped. • There is only one decent skillet (the iron skillet). The coating is scratched and coming off all the non-stick ones. • The fan in the lockout bathroom needs cleaning or replaced as it can sound obnoxious and it’s filthy. • The drain in the lockout tub has a super loud slurping when it drains. If you’re not expecting it, it can startle you. • The showerhead in the upstairs bathroom needs maintenance as it leaks when showering. • The upstairs bathroom toilet paper holder is loose and the handle kept dropping. • The floor trim and one of floor boards in the closet area of the upstairs bathroom are missing leaving raw wood exposed. • I had to sweep the first day as we kept stepping on stuff on the floor. • The rug in the living room was not vacuumed as there were old dried noodles and fingernail clippings on it. • The walls and door trim had many dirty fingerprints and dirty spots on them. • There were many dead bugs stuck to the light under the microwave above the stove. • Ants are everywhere, but this may just be part of the tropics. • They need new cutting boards. The ones they have stink and are worn out. • They need more silverware as there are only three teaspoons. • One cannot walk quietly through the unit when others are sleeping because the floors creek with each step. • The Yahtzee game only had 4 dice. Maybe they could invest in a few more games. • A good portion of the white towels are stained. • Thin walls I brought up all of these issues with Elite Pacific Vacations, with no response.

Over priced, unimpressive, "not delightful" home, needs TLC
Geezz where to start. First impressions were not good & continued to get worse the longer we stayed. The place was HOT and smelled like it had been closed up for weeks & the air was damp feeling from the beginning to the end. I looked the first night for somewhere else to stay and was willing to pay another $2000 just to get out of this dump. Nothing else available. NO AC, very important to have in Hawaii in August for many reasons, the "trade winds" they speak of do not blow even remotely hard enough to cool the house! The only area the winds cooled was the covered porch, which if the place had a hammock I would have slept outside, inside was miserable. We bought six fans & air spray for comfort. The ceiling fans they have are old and didn't cool the room as well as the 2 stand up fans, which were old & full of dust, we had 2 new fans in each room. The manager was very helpful with every issue, and there were several, but I felt like they should have payed me for all the issues I brought to their attention to be fixed. The front porch had old chairs & table with old empty plant pots, no flowers or plants, empty pots throughout the place. The screen door was hard to close & kept coming off the tracks, the sliding glass main door to the house took strength to close and the key holder for the house was so hard to use we just left the keys under the mat because the manager requested we leave the keys every time we left the house so maintenance could get in while we were gone. The room off the main house felt like being in a cabin in the woods, hot, damp and smelled old and the shower leaked and there was no water pressure to that shower. Inside the house the kitchen was the nicest, most updated part of the house but the sink would not drain, contacted management & was told to check the garbage disposal which wasn't working, was told to reset it & realized it wasn't even plugged in. The living room is old dirty furniture. Had to contact management to set up the wifi because the password that is in their house book was old & didn't work. The 2nd bedroom downstairs is dark, smelled & one of the 2 windows didn't open. The shared bathroom was nice & updated & shower was great but plug missing in the sink. The laundry basket was broken. The loft was hot, dark & smelled. The house was the worst part of the trip to Kauai; I would not recommend this place until it is renovated or unless they lower the price to something more like "glamping" pricing.
