**THIS PROPERTY IS ONLY AVAILABLE FROM MID-JULY, AND ONLY AS A MONTHLY RENTAL**
This charming and rustic red metal-roofed cabin set upon a secluded and natural 5 acres of pristine Great Northern Catskills countryside has been handsomely refurbished with maximum attention to comfort and serenity on the inside, and an entire kingdom of nature just steps from your door. Featuring a delicious, dark and dreamy bed chamber, a state of the art bathroom, a fully-stocked kitchen for bakers and chefs, it is surrounded by cultivated and serene rolling hills that envelop and stimulate - and inspire. Silence is your constant companion. You are surrounded - drowned - on all sides by Mother Nature, with her many creatures including birds and bees and gardens and floral beds everywhere, held back by a carefully-cultivated (and treated) perimeter around the property, this lovely little cottage is perfect for a single person seeking out inspiration in the woods; the couple who need (and love!) to work away from the demands of the city; a young family with a toddler who desperately require a few days of adventure in the countryside; and, with careful preparation, a dog who's loved and minded and protected. Writers, artists, soul-seekers, nurturers, drunkards, dreamers, women, especially BIPOC women needing commune with, in and around the majesty of an ever-fertile Gaia: this is your home away from home. I've spent years creating it just for you. Gardeners are so welcome - and needed. It can be a part of your stay, if you choose. This isn't the home for modern communication (yet), so if you're looking for high-speed broadband to work gigabytes from home: this isn't your place. Email, yes. Texting, yes. Phone, sometimes. Streaming and Zooming: maybe if the sun, moon and clouds allow it. This is a place of peace and of solitude, the silence of freedom, and the heartbeat of a true retreat. This is your place, if you're looking for an exit ramp from noise, modernity and clamor for a few days - or months! I am very open to longer-term, so please reach out with inquiries! I know you will love it here as much as I do, but before you take Little Biscuit: let's talk about life in these pristine, low-impact acres, let's talk about your car, your needs, your family and your experience (or not!) living on a mountain. Bearpen Mountain can be wild in the winter - wildly revealing and wildly revitalizing, too. This is an IDEAL home away from home for winter lovers and skiers (just 20 minutes from Windham & Hunter Mountains, and right next door to Bearpen Mountain), and I am happy to talk about long-term winter rentals! There's a 30 day minimum for this, as your stay in the winter requires some prep! Please reach out if you are interested and let's talk! Thank you! Andy+Hudson :)
