The perfect location for a quaint Rhode Island coastal getaway! Just a 60 second walk to Island park beach. During the warmer months be sure to stop in at Flo's for a RI Staple... award winning Clamcakes & Chowdah or a famed Lobstah Roll! (Literally a stones throw from the cottage) Take your food across the street, lay out a blanket or chairs and enjoy dinner right on the beach as the sun sets. Walk along the oceanfront with fantastic views, restaurants, and stop at Schultzy's for delicious ice-cream to cap off your night!! We enjoy taking our morning coffee from the house and walking 4 minutes to the beach and walking along the water line as the sun rises in the morning. Very peaceful and a great way to start any day!
Settled in 1638 and one of the 3 towns on Aquidneck Island, Portsmouth RI is rich in history and full of charm . The cottage is located in Island Park which is a quaint coastal neighborhood with a lot of personality and character located right near the heart of it all! The cottage is a true 60 second walk from the beach. Perfect for lazy summer beach days under the Rhode Island sun! In addition to the oceanfront, there is a quiet cove on the backside of the neighborhood called Bluebill Cove that is perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking. If you have children there is a great little playground and park just around the corner a 2 or 3 minute walk from the cottage. We also allow up to 2 pets at no additional charge. Perfect little private fenced in backyard so kids or pets can let some energy out during your stay or go for a walk steps from the cottage down the coastline of the oceanfront! We are a 10 minute drive to historic downtown Bristol. Spend a day freely roaming the charming streets of Bristol which has been kept in its original historic form and is host to the oldest and most famed 4th of July parade in the country. We are 15 minutes from downtown Newport RI and it's cobblestone Thames Street with quaint shops and restaurants along the harbor. 30 minutes from downtown Providence and 45 minutes from Boston (via highway).
The cottage has 3 designated parking spots. We have a Blink security camera on the exterior of the house pointing towards the driveway and entry is contactless through a lock box code.

Please do not park in front of next door neighbors homes. There is also additional parking 200 feet away at the new playground should it be needed
