I’m being nice
Tv didn’t work, ac wouldn’t stay off. It’s October. Blinds had been for show not functional. Bathroom was brim with hairs and the housekeeper came into the room after pleading with him he didn’t. He didn’t speak English but who goes into a rented room with someone still in it. This is the first review I’ve written in my life. It was that bad.stay at tru next door across from the mall.

The property is tired. The room heat did not work, the shower didn’t work, the door lock didn’t work and one of the 2 elevators didn’t work. Staff is very nice.

At check in, no information about breakfast etc, just room key given and had to ask where to park. We did like the cookies offered and welcomed those. We found the rooms spacious and clean with good amenities like coffee fridge microwave etc. We only got 1 and 1/2 set of towels for two people which were not soft. The room was not serviced on our second day. When going down to reception to ask why the room was not serviced I was told you have to request it. This would have been nice to know. Spent the day out and came back to an un serviced room. We could have used another trash can in the room, only one was found in the bathroom. Other than that the hotel was convenient (but noisy) next to 95, close to airport , shopping mall with plenty of places to eat and shop. Quick 15 min drive to old Port/downtown Portland.

Double room was very spacious. But the "separate bedroom" had a wall with a large walk-through opening into the sitting area. No closed wall, no closable door. So the person who went to bed early did not have a quiet, dark room for sleeping, since the other person was up with lights on in the sitting area.
