Upset that they removed the door chain locks while renovating and didn't replace them in every room. Stayed four separate times this summer and only one of our rooms had the additional lock. Made us a little uneasy as we were three girls staying alone. Staff is always super sweet.

Our section of the facility and parking lot had no exterior security lights--at least three were "out". I advised the desk attendant how dark it was and was told he would check it out. We stayed one night and so did not follow up on the lighting problem.

We were only there for a matter of hours. Checked in in the evening, had to switch rooms due to water leaking on the floor, and then had to get up at 3:15 to go to the airport. Not much to evaluate.

Only issue I had was the rain dropping from above onto the air conditioner made it sound like someone drumming till the rain stopped. Kept me awake it was so loud.

My room was across from the laundry and the housekeeping staff was getting ready in the hall and was very loud. I had a do not disturb sign on the doorbut it didn't matter. Also the AC unit was the loudest I have ever had in all my hotel stays.

The hotel was spotless inside and out. The location is great to get to many areas of Portland and beyond. The staff was so helpful going above including booking a shuttle to allow us to pick up a rental car after we were asking for a taxi to take us to the airport. Shuttle was prompt for 3am drop off took away all the stress of getting to airport on time. Will be returning in future when its time to visit Maine again.

Easy to drive to once I figured it out. Driving map on the website would have helped. Friendly, helpful front desk. Area in front of the front door was messy/dirty/not welcoming. Prompt help with getting fridge to work. Staff were working on the room across the hall and left the TV on & door open even when not there. Prompt response to my complaint. No workable clock in room. No carpet on the floor.

Comfortable bed and clean room and bathroom. The room is deemed to be handicap accessible, however, the bathroom is so small that when the door is open it almost touches the toilet and there are no handicap bars on the wall! On Expedia's motel site it states that there is a Chili's on site, but even though it is no longer open th site hasn;t been updated!

The property appears to have “tenants” who hung out in the back parking lot, drinking beer and played loud music from their car adjacent to our room. Other “tenants” were having a loud conversation in the same lot later in the evening. I would never stay there again and Expedia should stop listing this property. More of a boarding house than a hotel.
