Fit our needs and was affordable!
I was in Port Angeles for a one night stay. I chose Super 8 because of the location, the fair rate, and that it is pet friendly. I requested a ground floor room near an exit and they took care of my request perfectly. The room was very clean and fit our needs. I found the bed to be a bit hard for me, but I still got a decent nights sleep. They have a dog potty area outside the back entrance door that is lighted and has potty bags and a garbage can. The refridgerator didn't seem to be as cold as I would expect and there is no freezer compartment which was a bummer. The internet worked well and they provided excellent directions for figuring out the two remotes to get the TV to work. I knew going in that they did not serve breakfast. They do give you a 10% discount at Joshua's which is right next door to the hotel. I ate dinner there and it was excellent. We left too early in the morning to get breakfast (they open at 7:00) but maybe my next trip I will be able to eat breakfast. I did notice in the comments that the manager said they are always looking to improve the hotel but they have still not added a breakfast so it doesn't seem to be a high priority. Overall it was a nice stay and I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was decent but pretty run down causing it to appear not super clean. The "breakfast" provided was nutri-grain and another type of breakfast bar. It was an easy drive to Port Angeles waterfront and Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National park. We felt it was a bit overpriced. It worked for a one night stay, but felt a a little cramped for any longer.

First.....The front desk was awesome! There were highway closures that only locals would know how to avoid, and it was late (11:30pm). They gave me directions and then stayed on the phone with me for 15 minutes to ensure I was on the right road, pretty amazing. The property is perfect for a home base while exploring the natural attractions in an around Port Angeles, it's true its a bit older, but I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a couple of days to hike Olympic and to go visit Victoria BC. It was convenient and decent. Our room was on the second floor which was the ground level for the back parking lot. The parking lot was not too full so it was easy to get in and out. The breakfast room just has coffee, tea, juice, and some breakfast bars but there’s a good restaurant next door called Joshua’s that was nice! All in all, it was about as good as you’re going to get in Port Angeles, except for probably the Olympic Lodge. That place looks nicer and it’s in the same location but probably more expensive. My only complaint about the room was that you can hear neighbors through the walls. It wasn’t really a problem though.

Should be what all super 8s aspir to be
While i am usually disappointed with super 8s. This one in port Angeles was great. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Was a great nights rest after a long day of travel before catching the ferry.

This was a nice base point for a bunch of activities in the area. Pretty well located for driving into a few entry points to Olympic or to spend time in Port Angeles. The premises were clean, seemed mostly safe, although the back parking lot lights were a little dim and when we tried to get into the only door that accesses the hotel from the parking lot, the keycard didn't work the first 3 times I tried it, so we were locked out in a dimly lit parking lot after we heard and saw something fall out of a tree about 30 feet away from us. Thankfully another guest was nearby and came to let us in. What would significantly boost my ratings would be a continental breakfast, wouldn't have to be big, but all they have is some coffee, juice, and fig bars. Better than nothing and I definitely appreciated it, but seeing that a lot of people that stay there are going to get an early head start for a long day of adventuring and hiking into Olympic, having even muffins, yogurt and eggs would be great in the morning. I would stay here again though, especially for the price, which is very reasonable. And there are quite a few restaurants / fast food within a 5-10 min drive.

The room is pretty small but clean. It looks like an 80s old-style hotel. The only reason for picking this hotel is its location. If you want to visit Hurricane Hiil, this hotel is most convenient.

It’s really clean place to stay. Staff are nice and friendly. There is a coin laundry in the premise. Parking is easy and ample. Breakfast provided are the granola bar and coffee tea. To be picky, the room is relatively small and no lift.
