Contrasts

Surpurb location. Great town. BUT the building should be demolished and rebuilt. Tiny office. Antiquated. Unclean. Water faucets practically inoperable. It was inexpensive, but damn.

Nothing special, room is basic, small window air-conditioning which does it's job. Room has a small fridge and small tv (not used so not sure what channels were being offered). Only annoying part were the curtains for the window in the door, letting the bright light from outside in, as well the blinds which did not close proper and waking you up early. Wifi is very instable, and when connected not enough to watch Netflix. There is a small beach at the lake with a nice sunrise. Good for a one night stay while you're on your way somewhere but you might be able to get something better for the same price in the same area.

Pros : Clean bathroom and carpet. Very nice view of the Lake Champlain. Well maintained sand. Cons : No table nor chairs in the room. Dust buildup on the fan blades. No switch to turn on the ceiling lights. Dilapidated couch. Unidentified cloth/rag under the couch. Many seagulls enjoying and polluting the beach.

The place is nice private beach looks wonderful. The weather wasn’t cooperating when I went, but overall the places great!

I checked I'm ahead of my boyfriend. After waiting until dark I found him at a restaurant down the street. Aperently the manager told the owner he was banned and the owned threatened go call the police. He obviously had him mistaken This was dangerous,concerning, and the stay horrible. Never again ..I don't advise anyone to stay there

Was pleasantly surprised. I feel the lodge is nicer looking than shows in your photos. We were able to check in early and spent a couple of hours on the private beach, which was beautiful. The room is not fancy but it was clean, with a very comfortable bed and i would definitely stay there again. If you have youngsters there is a Mcdonald's within walking distance.
