Gather your family and friends for a memorable private and relaxed beach vacation. Little Gasparilla island is a bridge-less, barrier island off the South West coast of Florida in the Gulf of Mexico. It is ONLY accessible by boat, either a scheduled water taxi or your private boat. Schedule the friendly water taxi or bring your boat, just a few minutes from the marina to dock 69.

The island is a true private beach paradise with 7 miles of secluded sugary white sand beach. Enjoy the salt air, beach or bay views, salt water fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating, manatee and dolphin friendly visits. Wake up early for the breathtaking sunrise over the bay and meet your neighbors in the evening for the sunset on the beach. This exclusive island does not have restaurants, stores or cars. However, there are people who provide extra services: Water taxi, golf cart rentals, boat rentals, fishing charters, wildlife excursions, grocery deliveries, trash collection, and island made pizza.

Pelican Place Beach House was recently purchased and we are excited to share our island paradise with others. Our pet friendly 3/2 has been updated with new coastal décor, towels, ceiling fans in all rooms and lights. The top-level has an open living and dining area and dual sliding doors out to the deck. Our indoor living space provides plenty of space to relax and unwind together to enjoy a variety of board games or unwind watching a movie. The dining table sits six adults comfortably with three island bar seats to enjoy a family or friendly dining experience with beautiful views. The kitchen has all the appliances and cookware needed for meal preparation. Enjoy your evening together while cooking on the charcoal or Napoleon Prestige gas grill, under the starry skies and salt air in our outdoor living area. For your fishing and/or drinking needs, there is plenty of ice in the 121lb capacity Commercial Ice Maker.

Time to de-stress and pack less. Swimsuits, shorts, tanks and flip flops are ideal for this vacation hot spot. We will provide the beach towels, beach toys to include paddle board, kayak, fat tire bike, beach chairs and umbrella. Wash those clothes in our washer and dryer and repeat the next day!

New on the rental market, dog friendly, Internet by Suncoast Broadband with a dedicated signal and wifi throughout the home. Dish Network TV in the living room and master bedroom.

Spectacular Home
Our friends & family enjoyed our stay at this property. Thank you Kelly & Mandy in welcoming us. We loved everything about this place. From all the high end linen, towels, kitchen utensils, furniture, decor, beach chairs, etc, etc, etc.......I can go on forever. Kelly & Mandy thought of everything to accommodate anyone in this beautiful place. As a host of a rental myself, I took notes and learned what a 5-Star rental looks like. The home is perfectly centered for an easy walk to the boat dock to the east and another easy walk to the beach to the west. No need of a golf cart unless you plan to explore the rest of the island, which you can also bike ride or walk. Everything was perfect. We look forward in staying here again in the near future! Pelican Place Rocks!!!

Great vacation spot!
We loved staying on an island in a beach home. It's exactly what we were hoping it would be. The hosts were great! I hope we can stay there again someday! We had beach day everyday. Watched Sunrise and sunset. Just perfect!!

This property is exactly as described in the listing. The owner was very communicative and accommodating, and provided the information essential to having a successful trip to LGI if you are a first time visitor. The property was clean and very well maintained. I almost always rent homes through VRBO for vacation, and this was the most well appointed (kitchen, household supplies, beach supplies) house that I have ever stayed at. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at this home again in the future!!!

Wonderful beach getaway
Our family of seven had a wonderful time here. The location is awesome. The beach is an easy walk. The dock is also an easy walk. We enjoyed skim boarding, snorkeling, paddle boarding, a little fishing, and exploring the island. We also rented a boat and had a good time exploring the harbor and going to restaurants and ice cream. Some of the trip highlights include sitting on the beach each evening watching amazing sunsets, seeing manatees at Don Pedro State Park, and the low-key get away feel for the entire crew.

Excellent experience staying at Pelican Place.
It was a great experience renting Pelican Place. The owners were very responsive to our inquiries prior to our visit which enabled us to properly plan for our trip to LGI. The house was very nice and basically everything that was needed for preparing meals or to enjoy the beach were provided. Our dogs, and us, enjoyed the island and we found the residents and visitors to be very friendly.

Charming Property
One of the best homes on L.G.I. This place had it all; master suite with comfy bed and linens, open concept living/dining/kitchen, completely stocked kitchen with 3 options for coffee and a brand new NutriBullet , a very charming wrap around deck with mood lighting that came on promptly at dusk. But what I loved most was the beach bikes that I rode around the island and on the beach morning and afternoon. My husbands favorite was the super high end Neapolitan grill that he used every night. An added bonus: pet friendly. Our labradoodle loved sitting outside on the deck looking for other dogs that occasionally walked by. In conclusion: this home was perfect. Thank you to the homeowners for all the attention to details!

Look no further!
Amazing house stocked with all necessities needed to make you feel right at home. Layout of the home is perfect for spending time with family and friends in a comfortable open space. Hosts go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful memorable stay. Pelican Place is the spot to be. Short walk to the beach and/or the dock. Look no further, you will not be disappointed!!! Wonderful island stay!
It’s perfect for a large family or two smaller groups. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks, SUPS, bikes and toys. Having access to beach chairs and towels makes flying in easy. Kitchen contained everything we needed and more! We’d love to return as the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular!

Best stay on LGI
House was super clean and beautiful. Pictures did not do it justice. We have stayed on the island a few times and this by far has been our best stay. The property had every amenity. (Linens are 5 star and beds so comfortable) Only thing we forgot was salt and pepper and the owners actually had someone on the island bring it to us. How amazing. The owners responded to all of our questions super quickly before our trip as well. Property was much closer to the beach than we thought and we were easily able to walk back for a drink. You can tell a lot of thought was put into so many details of the home.
