Not bad for a quick trip.
Stayed for one night while visiting family. We only needed the room for sleeping in, so we weren’t picky. The non smoking room smelt a bit like smoke, but not enough o complain about. It was on a nice property with plenty of space for the kids to run around outside had we stayed longer. The breakfast was good. Overall, would stay there again.

It's really special that elk visit the property to graze. The breakfast was always plentiful and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's close to the national park entrances and unique stores.

We had a standard queen room. During the night we had bugs crawling on us. Didn’t get any sleep felt itchy. Manager wouldn’t refund us only offered us a different room. The room that was available was a king suite plus a rollaway for our daughter. They explained they wouldn’t charge us the difference for upgrading. Are you kidding me. Needless to say we will never stay there again

Couples getaway
This is a favorite for my husband and I to stay at in Payson because it's a convenient walk to Fargo Steakhouse. It is an older hotel, but it’s nice and some of the rooms have a fireplace, which we always get.

I stayed here many years ago and was impressed. The property has not been well-kept or maintained since then. Bed was semi-comfortable, cable TV service spotty and intermittent, dust on furniture, WiFi signal marginal in the evening, breakfast selections undesirable. Loved the room with the fireplace. Room also had a front and rear door. Was able to park right outside my front door and rear door opened to a wooded public area between buildings. Grounds also had an area with a barbecue, kitchen and seating area. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast was awesome

Nice place
Very nice place. located walking distance from restaurants and businesses in the town, without much traffic passing by at night. It was mostly clean, aside from a few loose hairs in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was lacking, but it is complimentary. The staff were friendly and informative
