They serve potatoes and patty seasoned sausage too much, bacon served once, grits once.a week. Need a variety of pastries and brands of yogurt. Staff was extremely helpful and prompt. only one floor has a ice machine that works but it always had ice. My heat did not work when it turned cold, however I reported it and service man was waiting for me by the time I got coffee and went up to my room. He could not have offerred better service, I feel confident that his word is good.

Hurricane Milton Evacuation stay
We stayed for 3 nights while evacuating from the eye of the Hurricane Milton back in Ellenton Florida. The hotel was consistent in our expectations from La Quinta hotels. Clean rooms, good hot breakfast and pet friendly. Convenient location.

We absolutely loved our stay here. They actually have a hot breakfast with home fries eggs and sausage. Everything is clean and the beds are so soft not to mention the staff is absolutely amazing. They are so friendly and take care of your every need with a smile on their face. I don’t know all the girls names at the front but they made my stay so much better with their kindness. I really didn’t want to leave. Best place I’ve ever stayed at.

The room was clean, the pool and hot tub area was clean. They ran out of towels outside and the desk and staff replaced them quickly, the desk staff did amazing. However, the breakfast service was the worst I've ever had. When we got to breakfast there were no plates, no forks, we wandered about for a minute before using a few little pastry plates. Eventually, a lady came out from the back with just one handleful of forks... disappeared for more than a few minutes then came back with a small stack of disposable plates... disappeared again for several more minutes then brought one bin of eggs then continued this one item disappearing act as guests searched and waited for items. The gravy for the extra dry biscuits tasted like alpo gravy. The coffee was closer to tea in transparency and closer to water in flavor.

Our stay at La Quinta Inn in Panama City Beach had both positives and negatives. Starting with some issues: The water fountains near the pool restrooms weren’t working, and when we asked the front desk for an umbrella for shade, they didn’t have one available. The cleanliness of our room was also disappointing—my husband had to borrow a mop from housekeeping to clean the sticky floors, and there was soap left in the shower from the previous guest. The ice machine was out of order as well. We also had an uncomfortable encounter with one of the staff members when we were sitting in the common area watching the news about the hurricane. Denisia asked us to leave because breakfast was over, even though it was just us in the room. Her tone was unnecessarily rude, and it left us feeling unwelcome. On the bright side, we met Kaylee at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and personable. Antonio, another staff member, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and offered help whenever we needed it. The Jacuzzi was a highlight, and the hot breakfast was a nice touch. Overall, the room was comfortable, but the cleanliness and service could have been better.

We were planning to evacuate for Hurricane Milton and booked a room accordingly. After a 5 hour drive, we arrived at the hotel around 9 pm stressed and exhausted. My wife goes to check in only to be told that the A/C in our room wasn't working. The desk clerk took her to the room to see if it was too warm for us because they were at full capacity. We have a 4 yr old and 2 senior dogs, so yes it's too warm. They end up replacing the A/C unit and we get settled in around 10 pm. Then erroneous charges start popping up on my wife's CC account and the front desk staff tell her that Expedia is making the charges, which makes no sense. I go down to the desk myself and the clerk says oh it's a glitch, blah blah blah. Ok, hopefully the charges fall off the account. My daughter spilled water on the floor of the room and when I cleaned it up, the paper towel was almost black. My daughter is 4 and didn't want to wear her slippers and her feet were black because the floor obviously hadn't been mopped in quite some time. Overall, not the best of situations but expected more concern and empathy.

Hotel staff did not inform that there would be a hold placed on my debit card. I was displaced due to hurricane milton and they took a deposit for incidentals that I had no knowledge of and I woke up to my account being in the negative. There were also roaches in my room. I killed 2 small roaches and one palmetto bug.
