Pleasant, but poolside needs improvement
Overall pleasant stay and friendly staff. The only thing we did not like was that poolside there were towels everywhere that were not collected the 2 days we were there and overall around the pool area it did not look tidy (trash and leaves) at all.

Beware of pet fee per night
This is the second stay in two weeks. In CA for cancer treatment. Front desk was not nearly as friendly on this stay. Had our two Yorkies just like last week and the front desk really freaked out when we walked in with them, rudely shouting across the foyer that we hadn’t been charged for them. It was $75 for the two Yorkies for less than 24 hours. Disappointed that hotels.com didn’t bother to state the fee per night. I finally located the fee per week which was stated as $125, but no mention of $75 per night for two Yorkies that weigh no more than 5 pounds each. Won’t be staying at this hotel again based on the treatment at the front desk. Breakfast staff were great both stays.

I have stayed at many Embassy Suites and this one is one of the nicer properties. I had to stay for work and it was a pleasant stay. I will definitely stay here again when I am in town.

Went for the Trump rally in Indio. Reservation was on a moment's notice. Great location in downtown La Quinta. Next door to the Sandbar which is a great white table cloth restaurant. Great happy hour and breakfast.
