Sunny skies and warm desert air abound at this two-bedroom condo in Palm Desert, a comfortable, well-appointed space that enjoys all the amenities of the Deep Canyons Tennis Club. You'll have 1,200 square feet of open living space, a remodeled, full kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and a front patio with ample room for grilling and dining in the sunshine. When you're not golfing, hiking, or shopping downtown, you can cool off in the community swimming pool or practice your backhand on the shared tennis courts.

This condo is located on the south side of Palm Desert, with the mountains (and a number of beautiful hiking trails) beginning just a few blocks west. El Paseo - the renowned stretch of downtown Palm Desert that's famous for its boutiques, restaurants, and art galleries - is just over a mile north, while the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens awaits two miles east. If you're a golfer, you'll have countless courses to choose from in the area, including several that are open to the public.

THINGS TO KNOW
This home must be booked 2 weeks in advance. A DocuSign and registration fees are to be paid 2 weeks before arrival. The registration fee is $100.
The utility deposit is $500 for 28 nights with $125 added for each additional week.

Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
This home only allows minimum night stays of 29 nights or longer. This is enforced by the County and we cannot make any exceptions.

Tennis time
The property on which this condo is located is quiet, clean and beautifully landscaped. The unit itself needs serious updates for the asking rent. The kitchen is great but there are several maintenance and interior problems. When asked, maintenance issues were addressed but the unit looks dated and run down.

Not as expected
This unit states a recent update, sleeps six and rents for a premium for this club community. The update only includes the kitchen, doesn't sleep six unless two of them are children who can/will sleep together in a loveseat sofa sleeper with a two-inch mattress. Everything is old; couches have plywood under the cushions, master shower smells of sewer gas, patio was filthy when I moved in, floors have different levels (tripping hazard until you get used to it). My best description is "lipstick on a pig".
