The convenience, location and pool only thing i liked . To checkin was horrible. The smoke from the casino was gross, there checkin should be seperate from the casino. The door to get into my room was stuck and had to use force to get in. The shower had holes and very ugly . Most likely will stay there again.

Rooms are dated and mattress has a swail in it. Room was quiet and clean but there was no shampoo and the soap was like an old bar of lava soap. Parking lot is a ways away from the actual room. Don't like that one has to walk through a very strong smoke smelled casino to get to the hotel check in desk where i had to wait for close to 15 minutes for someone to check me in.

The front desk, failed to provide Wi-Fi info. And failed to let us know we were going to be charged a deposit fee. Anytime a hotel charges a deposit, even if it’s know for deposits or fee, they usually will say hey I am charging you this amount.

Smoke smell
Room was great and service, but casino area/check in smelled horribly of smoke. Couldn't even breathe while checking in, especially with kids. Once we got to the room it was good, loved it was smoke free. We were there for a wedding.. We ate breakfast in their cafe/buffet and it's not that great.

It took 1 hour to check in. I was the third person on the line. Terrible and they said this is the process to check in. They had one person doing the job . No elevator and no refrigerator in room. My wife has lung cancer and we needed a first floor room. They put us on the second floor. They said sorry but you will have to climb the stairs. NICE.

My husband and I stayed for a couple of nights over Thanksgiving, due to its proximity to Death Valley national park. We enjoyed the hot tub and the breakfast quite a bit. The staff was very friendly. I wish they had better bedding options, such as a comforter instead a single synthetic blanket! Also a microwave & fridge would be good to have!

Thanksgiving 2024
This was a last-minute reservation on a holiday weekend due to a family injury/emergency. We were fortunate that a room was available. Not only was a room available, it was very clean, spacious, non-smoking and non-pet. The staff was very accommodating and respectful. The facility had all the expected amenities. We will definitely stay here again.

We are so happy to have "discovered" the Saddle West hotel! We visit Pahrump regularly, but this time our usual hotel choice was not available so we stayed at Saddle West and this will be our #1 choice going forward. The rooms are REALLY clean, which is possibly the most important thing. They don't have many amenities, but the low price makes up for that! Finally, there is this beautifully landscaped courtyard/pool area that makes it feel like a resort vacation. We're looking forward to our next stay!
