Online Deception
The pictures online of this property are old ones as there is much deterioration that has occurred. The only thing that is true is the view and it is spectacular. However that only goes so far. The grounds are in total disrepair and this property brings down the home values of the entire neighborhood. The sliding glass door to get onto the deck is broken and takes a strong man to actually pick up the door to make it slide enough for a slim person to get out. No deck chairs are available. The grill is old and rusty but does still work. The kitchen is supplied very poorly with garage sale items. No large serving bowls, knives are totally dull, no steak knives, old mismatched pots and pans; the toaster works on one side only, the can opener doesn't work at all. Supplies consist of one roll of paper towels, a few small bottles of dishwash liquid, one towel, one sponge, no dishwasher powder. The furniture throughout the upstairs and downstairs could be called adequate but not comfortable. The two hide-a-beds which we had to use for our grandchildren were pathetic but we had no choice. The mattresses were worn thin and were so dirty and stained. There weren't enough sheets provided for both beds and when I called the only number I could find for assistance, I was told I would need to go buy my own sheets and then take them home with me! The upstairs wiring seemed to be faulty as the lights flickered all the time.

Just as described!
House was clean, linens on each bed as well as extra in the cupboards. A wood stove with wood provided when we arrived. The view was AMAZING! Location felt secluded without being too far away from the town center, which has some great little coffee shops!

Not very clean
If you are looking for a clean place to stay this is NOT it. One of our group was so disgusted they chose to sleep in the car. Dog hair and human hair everywhere, stains of who-knows-what on mattress. Cobwebs and dead bugs everywhere. View is beautiful, but it's BYOC (bring your own chair). No chairs for the deck provided.

Loved our stay. Rooms are somewhat small downstairs but still good. Upstairs bedroom room is very large. The pull out couch bedding and mattress were very dirty and need padding or replacement. Not ada for upstairs anymore. All in all we enjoyed our stay. Thanks

I liked the big kitchen for our Christmas dinner and the big room for presents, etc. The balcony has rotting wood/ soft spots and needs to be tended to. This was a minor concern for me as we were there in the winter but it would effect my choice for a summer stay for sure.

Quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of the ocean
We actually took our 3 boys and two of their girlfriends with us on this visit and the house was big enough for all of us comfortably to stay.I originally thought it had bunk beds in one of the 3 bedrooms and a queen but there's actually 2 couches that fold out into beds. The house is a bit older but pretty clean..we did have one blanket with a yellow stain that came out when we washed it and their could have been extra towels for as many people as we had and some extra pots and pans to cook would be nice but overall pretty clean! We didn't have any issues with the fridge or stove as what other people posted only the dryer that wouldn't dry but I told the Vacasa house cleaners and they said they would report it.Everything was nice overall and even tho we like to be a little closer to the beach the view from this house was Amazing and it was a nice house..we would definitely stay here again!

Excellent view. Clean, very accommodating. Outside of online booking we did not have interaction with the property manager so I don't how to rate it any better than 3 stars. I believe I left my glasses over and am hoping to get a call should the cleaner finds them.

A Very Mixed Review
The rooms and living space were spacious and comfortable and the deck and view, of course, wonderful. The handicapped facilities, also, helpful, BUT they are all on the second floor, the stair chair did not work and the local person we contacted to help us with it offered none at all. There were also not even instructions anywhere about how to work the chair. It would have been very useful to know the layout of the downstairs rooms because the bedrooms are too far away from each other to accommodate a family with little ones being on opposite sides of the house and no indication of the layout. The upstairs bedroom is huge and parents and babies were fine there but it also meant that the person who needed the handicapped facilities had to use the lower level bedroom so was required to negotiate the stairs, with the non-working chair, with far more frequency than we thought would be necessary. However, the WORST was the kitchen!! Every appliance needs to be replaced- only 2 burners on the stove worked adequately, the numbers on the oven dial are almost completely rubbed off but the oven didn't seem to want to be at any temperature except broil anyway - we tried to use it twice and both things came out scorched outside and still cold inside. The cookware, what little there was, was so old the teflon was mostly worn off (not healthy). The refrigerator barely kept things cool - we wouldn't leave any leftovers in it for more than a day. And the dishwasher, well, I had to wash the silverware before we could use it. For such a large and potentially lovely guest home, it was very disappointing. Sarah Rhamey

Not worth the fees and nightly cost
We were very disappointed with this property and overall with VRBO for allowing such a property to be listed on their site. We arrived and the garbage had not been taken out of the garbage can and was overflowing. We had to use the bathroom garbage pail for our kitchen trash. The BBQ was filthy and was not working, not that we would have used it in the condition it was in. There was bbq sauce and meat juice all over it and looked like it had not been cleaned in years. We took pictures of both of the above. The downstairs TV did not work. The weathervane screeched all night in the wind keeping our kid and us up for most of the night. We called Vacasa on our first day and let them know the situation but did not get any response from the property manager. We informed Vacasa in feedback on a review related to our stay and requested our cleaning fee back at the very least. No one has attempted to contact us regarding this. VERY DISAPPOINTED and will not be staying with any Vacasa homes again. Would appreciate finding out from VRBO what recourse we have with regard to getting a refund and where we can send our photographic evidence. Thank you,
