It was located close to where our function was. It was reasonably priced. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The bathroom could use a fan. It was very close to I-95, so we did have some noise from that, but nothing the A/C unit or a small sound app on a phone coundn't cover. Perfectly fine for a short stay.

Best kept secret in Saybrook Only drawback is the traffic noise from 95. Easy to get to. Seconds from the highway, friendly staff

Great place to stay

Very good accommodations. Clean, newer furnishings, ample space, good air cond. Close to town. Could use more counter space in bathroom.

This is an old hotel with outside entrances ,nicely renovated rooms. Room is a good size. I liked that there is a table and 2 chairs which is hard to find in most motels. The air conditioner is very large and is situated in the back of the room so it does not blow on the bed at night a big plus. TV is good size and a channel listing is in the room. Maid service daily, another thing that is hard to get in a motel these days.There is a continental breakfast included,but we did not use it so I cannot comment. My only complaint is that there is no tissue box in the room,and the location is next to a highway so there is substantial road noise.

Two night stay. Good enough for the price. Pleasant staff. Would recommend for budget minded folks. If you find highway noice to be an issue, the ac unit helps

Motels are expensive in the vicinity of East Haddam. This was the closest affordable place to stay while visiting. It was a clean decent place to stay. The continental breakfast had muffins croissants, bread to be toasted, 3 kinds of cold cereal milk and coffee.

Affordable and no issues

Right off the highway. Very affordable for a quick place to sleep off the highway. It's not luxury but it was clean and had all you needed to sleep and shower. Check in was easy and manager was friendly. Would stay there again if going through Essex.
