Mr. John’s Corner Cottage is a meticulously maintained three-bedroom property in the heart of historic downtown Ocean Springs located right on Government St, and less than a mile to beautiful Front Beach.

Mr. John’s Corner Cottage has all the amenities you need. It is the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway, as well as week-long vacations with the family.

This comfy cottage provides all the conveniences of home. With a full kitchen & dining area, you will have everything you need to prepare your meals in the comforts of home, for those times you rather eat in than at the numerous Ocean Springs hot spots.

The living room provides a comfortable place to lounge in front of the large flat-screen smart TV that you can log into your accounts such as Netflix, Hulu, Youtube etc.

In the Master Bedroom, you will find a Queen bed with ceiling fan and Smart TV, and there are two additional bedrooms, one with a full bed with Smart TV, and the other with a trundle bed that has two twin mattresses. Both have ceiling fans as well to go along with central air conditioning.

The property is equipped with high-speed wireless Internet and provides both a front and back porch to sit, relax, and people watch. There are security cameras located in front and back of the home (no cameras are located inside the home)

Great location

My husband and I visited Ocean Springs for the first time and found this house to rent. It was perfect! Great location and walking distance to just about anything. The beach was only a very short drive and wasn’t over crowded at all! Parking was very private and convenient located directly behind the house with its own private parking pad!! We would absolutely recommend this house and we will absolutely be coming back soon!!

Girls Trip

Location was very convenient to downtown area. Was worried about being next door to tire place but wasn’t that bad…only hear them kinda early in the morning on Saturday. The floors could have been cleaned better! Overall was a great trip!

Ocean Springs Girls Weekend

My daughters and I recently stayed at Mr. Johns. it was clean comfortable and very walkable to everything. Parking was right behind the house and only a few steps from the house. We were delighted to have the Art Festival this same weekend and enjoyed walking, talking and making beautiful purchases with the venders. That was an added bonus to the wonderful foodie town!!

Very Convenient

This property is on the main street that leads into downtown, so it is no more than a 10 minute walk to anywhere in Ocean Springs. Checkin process was seamless, and the property manager answered our questions quickly and accurately. The house was clean and tidy, and everything (TVs, appliances, etc.) worked. Excellent stay overall.

Great Location

This was a cute little home. It was a lovely stay. Even though it is next to a tire store, this lovely town has sound ordinances so it did not interfere with sleep. It is in a great location, it is walking distance to many of the shops and eateries. If you desire, it is across the street from a golf cart rental if you choose not to walk. This home has two porches, with seating, if you choose to sit out and enjoy the outside. Very helpful information given. We look forward to staying again in out future.

Perfect location

This was a perfect location for the Songwriter's Festival - music venues and excellent restaurants were within walking distance. Five of us stayed and were very comfortable. The house was clean and the property manager was available and accommodating. We will be back again.

Great location!

The cottage is in a great location if you plan on enjoying the restaurants, shops and night life of Ocean Springs. We loved being able to walk everywhere! The cottage was very clean and well-stocked. It was hot and humid all weekend but the AC didn’t struggle at all and kept it nice and cool inside. We definitely plan on coming back!

Perfect stay!

We went to plan our upcoming wedding and this was the perfect location! Right in the heart of downtown. It was across the street from golf cart rentals which was fun and convenient! The house was very clean and better than expected! There were no TVs in any of the bedrooms, 1 would have been nice. The living room TV had so many channels. Our stay was perfect!

Comfy lodging in Great location

Overall great place with great location. Only area of improvement would be floor cleanliness. Our granddaughters went barefoot inside for about ten minutes and the bottoms of their feet turned black. Everyone wore socks or slippers the rest of our stay. A good floor scrubbing would probably help. Other than that our stay was outstanding. A/C works. No bugs. Everything worked. Definitely recommend

Totally enjoyed the property! Kitchen had everything we needed, only draw back was 4 beds and only linen for 3. But we had some of our own so we survived! Also we could have called, I'm sure, but we were good. Great vacation!

Great stay!

This cottage is such a great alternative to a hotel! It's right in the middle of a cute and artsy small downtown. We had enough room for a family of 4 plus grandma, and all of the necessities to cook meals. The grocery is a short drive so you can save even more by using the property's kitchen. The cottage is decorated very clean and cute as well. The one hiccup was that extra linen was not left out, but the property manager responded right away an within 30min the housekeeper came by to provide what we needed. It was easy to check in and check out, and a great location for both strolls through the town and a 5 minute drive to the beach and multiple playgrounds. We enjoyed our stay!
