Waterfront Condo with Ocean City's Best Amenities

The Space:
Top floor condo in Sunset Island with beautiful water views and vaulted ceilings. Three bedroom, two full-bathroom condo with an open floor plan and plenty of space. Living area consists of a large living room, dining space and fully equipped kitchen. Master bedroom is waterfront with a king size bed and an ensuite full bathroom with soaking tub. Off of the living room and master bedroom there is a large private balcony that is a great place to relax after a long day at the beach. There are two additional guest bedrooms in the rear of the condo and another full-bathroom. One of the bedrooms offers a queen sized bed and the other offers two sets of bunk beds with a total of four single beds. Sunset Island's amenities are unrivaled with indoor and outdoor pools, marina, fitness center, bayside beaches, fishing piers, bar and grill, interactive fountains, general store, security and more. Community is within a short walk of the beach, coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, amusements and more. Come make some memories at the beach with Coastal Life Vacations. Linen and towel package included with reservation. Management fee includes Damage Waiver for $1000 in accidental damage coverage. The Sunset Island community charges parking and registration fees upon arrival that range from $90 to $165 depending on the time of year. License Number - 82362 This condo is on the 4th floor.

General Policies
Minimum guest age is twenty-five years old.

The guest that signed the Lodging Agreement shall be the guest that checks-in. This guest must be at least twenty-five years old and occupying the property throughout the duration of the rental period. All occupants of the property during the rental period shall be supervised by this guest. Violation of this policy will result in denial of access, cancellation of the reservation and/or immediate removal from the property without refund.

Maximum occupancy is noted on the listing and related materials. Violation of this policy will result in denial of access, cancellation of the reservation and/or immediate removal from the property without refund.

Guest shall not host, or permit to be hosted, any parties at the property at anytime. Violation of this policy will result in denial of access, cancellation of the reservation and/or immediate removal from the property without refund.

Pets are prohibited at the property. Violation of this policy shall be grounds for immediate removal from the property without refund. Guest will be responsible for all associated cleaning costs.

No smoking or vaping is allowed on the premises. If smoking or vaping does occur on the premises, Guest will be evicted and is financially responsible for all damage caused by the smoking including, but not limited to, stains, burns and the cost of odor remediation and removal and replacement of damaged property.

Your booking includes $1000 in accidental damage coverage, however any property damage needs to be reported immediately to Coastal Life Vacations to avoid additional charges and/or legal claims.

Rental booking includes a complete linen and towel package. Guest will be responsible for supplying their own paper products, toiletries, trash bags, beach towels and beach equipment.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations shall be in writing. Processing, management and credit card fees are non-refundable. Reservations canceled more than sixty (60) days prior to the check-in date will receive a 100% refund less aforementioned fees. Reservations canceled more than thirty (30) days prior to the check-in date will receive a 50% refund less aforementioned fees. No refunds will be provided for reservations canceled thirty (30) days or less prior to the check-in date. No refunds will be provided if Guest does not take occupancy of the Property. A transfer to another Property at Guest’s request will be treated as a cancellation. Reinstatement of a canceled Reservation is subject to an additional processing fee. The Reservation will be in effect upon receipt of initial required deposit payment and the applicable cancellation policy will apply at that time.

Disappointed

Location was beautiful, I stayed at sunset island 4 years ago. Our unit was a disgrace this time, broken furniture, dirty floors and walls. Dust hanging from the walls. Stains on everything. No curtains up in the bedroom so anyone can see you in your room. Ice machine broke on refrigerator.

I’ve vacationed at the Sunset Island many times since the community was new. It’s been 10-15 years since we have stayed here and the community is not as nice as we remember. The center inter-active fountain was down / off / unrepair during our whole stay. The condo we booked appears that they don’t take pride in maintaining for do any repairs. The carpet was stained. The drywall had many settling cracks. Some furniture was broken and just pieced together. Based on past reviews we brought cleaning products to clean it at the beginning of our stay. It wasn’t clean to our standard.

Wonderful family vacation

The house was spacious, clean, and a very short walk to the beach. Tons of things for kids to do. Well appointed kitchen. Very communicative host. Price was right too. Don't miss out on this vacation gem.

Keep looking for another unit

Beautiful community in short proximity to everything. The unit could be wonderful if the owner only cared enough to maintain it and respected their guests enough not to leave dirty sheets and barfed on blankets inside the units closets - absolutely disgusting! Blankets assigned to kids beds were blood stained!! A spare blanket in a master bedroom closet looked like someone barfed all over it, folded it over and put it back in the closet! Every closet had random and DIRTY bed sheets inside! We got a very nice set of clean and freshly laundered bed sheets and bath towels in big blue bags, so we did have clean linens. But why keep all the messy stuff in the closets for guests to see and explore?! The closets felt very stuffy, so I just kept our clothes in suitcases. Windows covered in dust! Window treatments dusty and plain dirty! Washer is leaking and there was a small puddle of dirty water on the side of it. They tell you to leave your parking and pool passes behind on the counter when you check out - there were tons of somebody else’s expired passes in the unit. Made me wonder if anyone checks the units between guests at all. They ask you to wash all the dishes AND put them away before your 10am check out. The dishwasher cycle is at least 1.5 hrs! So plan to be up early!! Or better yet keep scrolling and look for a better unit in this nice community. This one is too pricy to spend your vacation walking on stained carpets and breathing the old dust.

This apartment truly has the opportunity to be a stellar property. The problem is that it is EXTREMELY run down. the pillows (holy cow) look like they havent been changed since the beginning of time. Never. The rugs are stained all over. The furniture is so disgusting that you really have to question if you want to sit in them. For the amount of money I paid, I would have expected to have made beds with sheets on them. I slept in the main bedroom and couldnt find the king size sheets. I had to sleep on top of the single bed sheets. Seriously, for the amount of money paid, you would expect a better experience. Like mentioned above. The unit has great potential but zero TLC makes is "never again" rating for me.

Bad unit in a great community

Furniture and rugs are grossly worn and stained; bed pillows are worn with blood and sweat stains, kitchen is poorly equipped with mismatched plates and cups that’s are made mostly of worn out plastic, washer produces deafening sounds; closets have old bedsheets and blankets left on shelves. No one has bothered to remove a melted plastic tree and broken chair off balcony , one bunk is a complete safety hazard as it sways if you touch it. We even had to put the mattresses on the floor to safeguard against the collapse of the bunk. The unit really needs attention and shouldn’t be available for rent until theses issues are corrected. The location and community are wonderful.

Short Family Getaway

My family and I owned and sold this property in 2014. 98% of the decor is from when we owned it. The condo could us a GOOD deep clean. There was dust on the bathroom lights, stains all over the couch, cracks through out the condo, the carpet has stains in several spots, the master bathroom right sink did not work. The place that we loved so much needs a lot of TLC. The amenities says pool/spa... since Covid renters no longer can use the sauna. We paid $160 for parking passes and use of the pools and bay. Seems to be a steep price. When you check in it does not say you have to go to the Club House to pay for your parking passes. That should be more clear. The management group was easy to work with and very helpful.

Cute condo overall

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The condo itself was cute although it could definitely use some updates. View to the bay was great and balcony was a good size. Not too far of a drive to the beach or boardwalk. Parking and check in was a little confusing as we didn’t receive any info from the host on where to go and had trouble getting through to anyone on the phone, but after driving around and finding someone that worked in the community, we figured it out. Pool was nice but very crowded as was the private beach area. Would definitely recommend sending a proper list of what is/isn’t included (after reaching out 3 days before our trip, we were told to bring linens, towels, paper products and detergents but got there to realize there were no no garbage bags, Tupperware or plastic wrap for leftovers, etc) and would provide guests the wifi info at check in.

Great location and great property

We really loved the community this property was located in. Location was great. Short drive to the boardwalk or North to the DE beaches. The condo was clean and well kept. Only suggestion I would have is a new bed in the master bedroom.

Fathers Day Weekend

Great location and neighborhood! Condo was nice but a in a little need of updates. Could tell it’s had some hard wear and tear. We fully enjoyed the location and all the amenities! Space was great! Would definitely recommend staying here!
