Place is a trash heap. Manager obviously is used to dealing with crack heads.. beat on my door at 11:00am sharp to check out and was rude and belligerent.

This is a renovated hotel. It was very comfortable and clean. In the room it had an ironing board/iron, hairdryer microwave, refrigerator, comfortable bedding and pillows, nice bathroom area and wi-fi is available, although not password protected. They have an ice machine, breakfast, putt-putt golf, pool, gym, and close parking. They did not have a coffee machine in the room, but they had some of the best coffee we have had available in the lobby 24/7! They have a small store to purchase snacks, ice cream, and microwaveable meals. All the staff were helpful and very friendly. The price was considerably less than others nearby, yet they provided all that we needed in a warm and comfy atmosphere.

If you need a fast place to sleep ok, but honestly it was gross. The pictures were deceptive. Will never go back! Crap in the toilet at arrival, killed a bug as soon as we walked in. Front desk was not welcoming. Night shift.

My husband and I stayed one night recently and the room they gave us was disgusting: Pile of hair and dirt in the carpet. It seems they didn't vacuum the carpet for days. They didn't bother to check the room before assign it . The bath tub was stained and had mold around. No conditioner at all. Very poor selection in breakfast. No fruit. We were moved to another room for our request. Second room was clean but sink was clugged. The Haward Jonson hotel is located in Ocala. Dirty room 206. I don't recommend the hotel Haward Jonson in Ocala.

This is my go to property whenever I have to stay in Ocala For the past three years. The property is very well-maintained. The rooms are immaculate. The grounds are very well kept. The staff is extremely friendly and eager to help. The location is very convenient to many things. This is the best value for the price. The beds are super comfortable. The rooms are extra large and size. There is a guest laundry room here ice machines even some food available in the lobby. If you’re in the Ocala area I highly recommend this place.

Room was decently clean, maybe. Deadbolt between rooms seemed not secure at all. Remote to tv not working. Smells like cigarette smoke. Phone in room not working to call desk. Outlets seem like a fire hazard. Window in bathroom unlocked and open. Cigarette (?) burns on tub, cracked vinyl on headboard. Very uneasy night of sleep.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with a recent stay at the Howard Johnson Motel in Ocala, FL, which I booked through your platform for the Florida Swim State Championship. The experience was far below the standard I expected, especially considering the price of $100 per night. Upon arrival, I noticed several issues that made my stay uncomfortable and distressing: Moisture and Unpleasant Air Quality: Despite having the air conditioning on, the room had a significant amount of moisture, creating an uncomfortable and unhealthy environment. Unclean Pillows and Bedding: The pillowcases appeared dirty, so I requested fresh ones. However, even after receiving replacement pillows, their quality was subpar and did not provide the expected comfort. Pest Infestation: I encountered multiple cockroaches in the room and killed three during my stay. Additionally, the room had small flies, which I could not identify or trace to their origin. We were careful to keep the door tightly closed when entering and exiting, but this did not seem to help. The combination of these issues made it impossible to feel safe or comfortable during our stay, and I was anxious to leave the property as soon as possible. Considering the numerous problems I encountered, I do not believe the room was worth the $100 per night charge. Given the unacceptable conditions, I am requesting a partial reimbursement for the stay. I trust that Hotels.com values customer satisfaction and hear me out.
