Kimberly at the front desk had a terrible attitude toward customers. We were very friendly and courteous. We did not get the same back from her. A cleaning lady in the hallway was not friendly either. So many grumpy employees here. Room was ok, but over priced for what you got. I travel a lot and stay in many motels monthly. This one failed to get me to come back. Another big no go for me is the room didn’t have a blow dryer. That’s a first for me. Company needs to lower to $49 night instead of $200

advertised as a non smoking facility but it as soon as you walked in the lobby it smelled like smoke, the room smelled even worse i started to get a headache. check in and check out was easy but i feel like if you’re charging me $400 for two days it should be better quality. the elevator was missing a button and i know things happen but the smell was really what got me because it was so strong and fresh like they just left and there was burn holes in the curtains as well! Kinda wish i could get my money back, had to rewash all my clothes brother all smelled like smoke and cigarettes

The elevator is broken. You can't take it down to the first floor. I was traveling with my limited mobility mother so I had to run down the stairs and press the call button on the first floor. I hope it's fixed soon. I wish we had been informed in advance. We would have stayed elsewhere. In addition, there was not any cold water in our sink. We'd lift the handle and nothing. So we would move it over until water came on. And then it was scalding hot. It was an absolute safety concern. I mentioned this to the front desk and it was shrugged off. They said they would let maintenance know but not sure how often maintenance is in. Lastly, the room felt really worn. The carpet had a sticky section, paint was chipping off the wall, the furniture had scratches and dings. There was also a lot of road noise. The AC was excellent. So there was that.

The staff was moving very slowly as I was waiting to get checked in. It was already late at night but he said “sorry, the game is on” as he was leaning his head to the side past me to watch the football game instead of getting me my key card.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The two gentlemen who prepared the morning breakfast were very good. The food area and the tables were also clean. And the buffet was never empty, there was always something on the trays and plates.

Checking in was ok... we went to our room just to find out after 5 min that the toilet was licking.. called front desk and refused to give us another room because we have to wait for maintenance to come..which never did...and finally they agreed to give us another room..by the way.. Not happily...Advise that woman in front desk with bunch of piercings on face to Take a Customer service Training ASAP... We are 7th day Adventist therefore we do Not eat pork, so they Should have another choices of protein when it comes to breakfast, in the menu. Look for a better hotel if you would like to be treated good..

It was my port in the literal storm. A storm came through the east coast and canceled flights at Norfolk Airport. Many people slept on the airport floor but was able to book a room at La Quinta hotel. I had a great comfortable affordable nights rest.
