Room for improvement
The home is located in a very central area to all the local attractions. We were quite pleased with how easy it was to get around form the location. The homeowner is easy to get a hold of and quick to reply. We asked for a later checkout and were granted one without any problems, which was greatly appreciated due to a late afternoon flight. The area we think could use some work has to do with the house itself. We found it not to be the cleanest or in the best repair. There were streaks of something running down the wall behind the door in the front bathroom along with lint and gunk in the corner. There was also something running down the wall where your head rests in the middle bedroom and an attic access in the ceiling with a hole in it that had metal tape trying to cover it. There is no broom and dustpan or extra kitchen towels to clean up after yourself. There are plenty of paper towel though but no cleaner to use with it. Last, the seating in the main room is sparse. There is one couch that could fit four adults but not comfortably and definitely not good for conversation. One or two more chairs in the room could easily make the space much more comfortable.

Clean place, ok location, a bit short on furnishings
The main shortcoming of this place is that it’s lacking some of the basic things that make you comfortable when you are in a rental. There were no hangers in any of the closets, and there are no dressers, so you can’t really unpack unless you just want to put your stuff on the floor. They are no top sheets on the beds, just quilts. The bed in the master bedroom is really really squeaky. The living room just has a sofa and no other seating, so it’s not very comfortable for a family of 4 trying to watch tv together. The place is clean and in good condition. The location is ok as long as you have a car. Check in was smooth, communication was good. It wouldn’t be my first choice on a return to NOLA but I wouldn’t steer anyone away from it.

New Orleans Did Not Disappoint
Our rental property was very clean and its description online was exact. We took advantage of the kitchen and cooked a meal with all the utensils necessary there in stock. We also took advantage of some the spices made available. We had a very nice time cooking on the grill and talking under the night stars in the walled off backyard. We were very impressed with the owner who purchased a new TV promptly to replace the living room tv. It was a quiet and safe neighborhood and just minutes away from the sites and cafes we visited.

We loved our stay! Clean, roomy, great kitchen. Perfect location for French Quarter. & Mid city!
Easy access, helpful communications with owner. Excellent decor and colors, new & fresh. All rooms comfortable and living area lots of space! Nice neighbor let us know a window was down in our car and rain was starting. Bathrooms large and loved the washer dryer.. Good TV although we were not there much. We only wished we had bath mats to not slip. And we think they forgot top sheets.. I’m from Mandeville, across the lake, and stayed there with my grown, out-of-town children, so I could borrow those items from family! Those are our only request for the next person. Otherwise the place was perfect! Thanks!
