Great location, quiet hotel within walking distance of beach, and restaurants. Excellent daily buffet breakfast. Room was clean, very comfortable bed. The hotel saw from my passport it was my birthday during our visit, providing cake and sparkling wine as a nice surprise when returning to our room. Would stay again.

Really good experience. Staff are friendly, and very cooperative. The area surrounding is quiet, quaint, and relaxing. The property has all of the requirements you would expect of with a three star hotel. Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommended Hotel!
Customer service is excellen! We came earlier than the check in time. The receptionist, Susana was very accomodating, welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is just perfect. Smells so good inside the hotel, very clean and cozy lobby and bar area. The pool is clean but a bit smaller. Our room is clean and spacious. It has a balcony with a nice view. Aircon worked well, everythings in order. They prepared a sweet surprise on our second day, a bottle of wine and a cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Very thoughtful , we appreaciate it so much. Walking distance to the restaurants, stores and the beach. Breakfast buffet is a plus! You have lot’s to choose from. It’s 14 min away from Albufeira city by car. It costs around 4€ with Bolt and about 37 min from Faro airport, we paid around 22€ by Bolt. Staff are all very polite, nice and efficient. We highly recommend this hotel. We will surely come back!

excellent value for money, clean, welcoming, great breakfasts - the dining room a little basic but fine, and for the price we paid extremely good value. I would recommend and will return.

Very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast good and plentiful buffet style. Property is somewhat far from the beach and very far from Old Town Albufeira (reachable by bus and walking a lot). One night had live entertainment.

A Great Little Find
A little gem, at a great price, not too far from shops, bars & restaurants. Breakfast was excellent & the staff very welcoming & friendly. Special mention to Nathalie on reception, who was there when we arrived & still there when we departed; she was lovely! Shame we were just passing through, so only stayed 1 night, but we’ll definitely stay longer next time we are out there.

The suite we stayed in was so spacious with a lovely view. The staff at the front desk were all very friendly, helpful and really cared about our request for a quiet room. A lady at the reception (sorry didn't get her name) was particularly helpful with our many requests for boat ride to the caves, bus to the old town centre, and train ride to Lagos. There were a couple of good restaurants nearby, we tried the Thai restaurant and also Cantinho do Mar 3 course menu at an unbelievably good price. Thank you for a wonderful time in Albufeira.

Just back from a 6 night stay at Velamar & can honestly say everything was pretty much perfect! The hotel has been designed & decorated to a very high standard-all areas immaculate! And we had the pool to ourselves some days even on the hot days. Quiet hotel with plenty of eating choices in the neighbourhood & in Olhas D,Aqua (15 minute walk away) This hotel is quite a find & we will definitely be returning!

Super friendly and kind front desk staff gave us an amazing greeting and check in. Made us feel very welcome the entire time. Rooms are very clean and modern with great AC. Pool is very nice. Parking is free and easy. Good location close to many things. Would definitely stay again.
