The room had a bad odor. Whenever we would leave and come back in, it seemed worse. The room was much smaller than we anticipated.

Will stay again!
We stayed for 4 nights and I was satisfied with the accommodations. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel except to sleep, but the time we were there we were comfortable. If we needed something, we asked and it was provided. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Because of the location, we were able to walk around and do things around the FQ without needing to drive anywhere or worry about transportation.

Loved the hotel! It was clean, attractive, convenient to the French Quarter, and the staff friendly and helpful. It can get loud in the French Quarter.

Staying at the Chateau felt like being at a short term rental with housekeeping services. It was quiet and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The only major drawback for me was that the bathroom sink offered no space to set anything down, and whatever I did temporarily place beside the faucet would slide down into the sink. All of the front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. This is not the hotel for those who want frills, but it is good for people who want to spend more time out and about than staying in the room. And who wants to stay in the room when you're in New Orleans!

The location is prime and they do their best to keep the gate locked and the area clean. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The pool was a nice addition to luxury and we enjoyed the patio area when the weather was warm.

Great property and location. We had a balcony room and loved our stay. I would say the only thing is bring an eye/sleep mask. They have curtains on the door windows and there is quite a bit of light coming in. Otherwise, it's a great choice.

Very noisy at night. Shades didn't keep out the courtyard lights at bedtime. Had trouble locating the front door to the hotel. There is no signage out front and the office curtains are closed all the time.

The pool area was so pretty all the little Statues made it just look so antique and lovely. The room was nice and the bed was large and comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The only positive about this hotel was the staff, everything else was a nightmare,the smell off pee still haunting me. No fridge, no water ,the coffee makers are old and only brewing tea ( thin coffee). There is no supermarket around to even purchase some water. The first room they placed us room 228 had no windows and the smell ( musty and moldy) was unbelievable. So I asked for another room, still no windows but at least a door what opened to fresh air. The bathroom door had the size of a closet, sink was clogged. No space to place any personal items. And don't gete started on parking. 45 dollars a night and it wasn't closed over night, neither was security around. Iam so upset that I spend so much money on this hotel. It was not worth it.

Great location for clean, budget accom
Great location - condition of the hotel s a bit “budget” but the staff were super friendly. Room was clean and bed comfort Bit wouldn’t want to spend more than a couple of nights there.
