Great Beach View
The location is great, right in front of the beach with a pool to relax after walking. The location is close to the main attractions and easy to get to. Our stay was great other than the fact that maintenance had to be done in the middle of our vacation with having the heater replace and some wall outlets.

Overall, it was an excellent experience! Neighborhood was quiet and the property was clean. I loved that the beach was just easy to get to,and the elevator and rolling cart were very helpful when it came to unloading groceries. I would take basic seasonings if you do plan on making a meal.

The we’re ants throughout the condo.
We first arrived and noticed a trail of fire ants outside the condo which seemed to be heading inside. Sure enough once we entered we found them in the kitchen and laundry room. The we’re fire ant and everyone in the family was bitten during our stay.

Water seeping up through newly installed flooring. When talking to Property Management (Vacasa) they said sorry but did not ever send anyone to address the flooded condo or any of the other problems. VRBO could not contact the condo owner or get any resolution to issues. I have ask for refund but got cut off phone call before they he person who could have address that could answer. Multiple calls and always had to start over with explaining all problems. Still no response concerning any refund.

Nice location and clean accommodations. But very difficult to communicate with owners. TV in main room wasn’t working and we called first thing in the morning every morning we were there. I was told someone would come out, but no one ever showed in the 4 days we were there!

Property maintenance was only downside.
The listing said beach access and heated pool. Due to construction/renovation the pool was closed and beach access was closed. The walk to a public beach was about a half mile. Property management authorized a partial refund and after I watched repeated people using the "forbidden" beach access - I just used it also. Things like this would be nice to know in advance(reservations were made in March) because I like being prepared as I shell before dawn and walking down a public highway in the dark was a bit unnerving.

There were cockroaches in the kitchen and main bedroom along with evidence of them under the kitchen sink. Really hoping we don’t take them home with us! There was no place comfortable to sit, the couches and main bed is very broken down. The screen door was off and on the ground. We had to put it back on track. Walls are dirty with dirt and food plastered on them. Place could also use a good dusting. For the price you pay for cleanser ices they are not doing a very good job. On a positive note the view was amazing and great beach access. Really wish there was no bugs and nicer furniture if so we would stay again and recommend others to stay. Kind of disheartening when you reply to a text from the property manger and let them know about the issues we had and get no response.

Overall, we enjoyed the condo and its great location close to the beach. The kids loved the pool, and the adults enjoyed the large porch and its terrific view of the ocean. The condo was nicely decorated and fairly clean (the inside of the washer desperately needed to be wiped down). Loved the size of the beds and the fact that there were two bathrooms -- a MUST when you have the whole family with you! Very happy with the relaxing and comfortable layout of the dining room and living room. Some minor inconveniences include a sliding closet door that kept coming off its track, and one of the living room lamps wasn't working properly. Also, we were really confused about where to park when we got there, and we didn't know ahead of time where to find our parking passes. Before our trip, we asked Vacasa if the condo had a box fan available for us to use as white noise to sleep at night, and they said the property manager would supply one. However, no box fan was at the condo when we arrived, and it took over a day for Vacasa to get back to me on the status of getting one -- ultimately, they said they do not provide such amenities, and weren't sure why were were told otherwise to begin with. They did, however, attempt to make amends by giving us a credit for a portion of the unexpected expense of purchasing box fans while we stayed at the condo. I think a "tip sheet" would be helpful to future guests who are unfamiliar with Navarre Beach, to provide insight on what to expect in certain situations. For instance, most of the local dining venues close at 9 p.m., and we learned the hard way that you need to get to certain restaurants no later than 7 p.m. or else they may turn you away because they're too full. We also spent quite a bit of time stuck in traffic, and would have benefited from knowing what times of day typically have less traffic.
