Beautiful historic hotel. Did not expect hot cooked breakfast each morning & social hour every afternoon. Delicious! Comfortable accommodations & for being so old, very quiet. Did not hear the people above us. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful grounds & nice pool. Bikes, beach chairs & towels provided.
Nice breakfast and 3:30 happy hour (wine social).
Has its own beach access.
Very capable staff. Beautiful plantings. Lots of character and land.
We saw bunnies on the lawn.
Would recommend.
As always come here every year, awesome visit. Beautiful surroundings- very serene. Close to restaurants, attractions- private walkway to beach. Beautiful artwork through out the grounds. Service is excellent- everyone is very friendly and accommodating.
I had an exceptionally positive experience at this establishment. It is a historical site situated in close proximity to the beach. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a wine social in progress, and a delicious breakfast was also provided for us. I highly recommend this location.
Wonderful stay! The front desk attendant was very personable and my husband and I enjoyed talking with her. The wait staff was very personable and great as well.
Weird when staff can’t find beach towels for a “supposed” beach front property. Room was filthy, shower barely big enough to turn around in.
Best to tear it all down and start over as The Second Colony Inn.
We were very impressed by all aspects of our stay. The king room on the first floor was perfect. Clean and comfortable room and bed. Beautiful property, loved all the flowers and plants. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Loved not having to leave the property to eat.
