love this place, the entire complex could use some updating and the parking structure is tight but easily manageable with my larger Enclave. HOWEVER, the price is right and a great area of the beach. I have stayed here a few times and always a pleasure, and Eliott beach is a breeze to deal with, thank you.

Myrtle Beach Stay
We had a great stay at this beautiful location. The llace was neat and clean when we arrived. Check in was super simple and we even got the opportunity to check in earlier than our check in time which was great. The view from the balcony was amazing. It overlooked the entire beach! Everything was walking distance from the property and easy access to the beach. You have access to all the amenities like the pools/fitness center etc. The room itself Is located on the 11th floor so the view overall was great!! we really enjoyed our stay and will be returning soon!

Check in communication issues
We were not notified of not being able to check in to our room. The only information online which was it should be ready between 3 and 5. We arrived at 3:00, picked up the paperwork from the realtor and they checked and said the room wasn’t ready but they would text me when it was. Closer to 5, we called the realtor back, still no time frame as to when we would be able to get in. By 5:45 I was extremely frustrated and tried calling back and kept getting their voice mail. Eventually my husband was able to reach someone and was told it was ok for us to go to the condo. However they may have to move us the next day because one of the beds had an issue. When we went in, the floor was wet from being mopped minutes before we got in which was around 6:00 pm. My husband was told someone would follow up with us the next day. No one ever called or text me. There was nothing on the beds but sheets. I had to go out and purchase 3 comforters. The tv in the bedroom would not pick up anything until around 7:00 pm. The tv would not get a signal until then. The other tv in the living room was a newer model and we didn’t have any issues with it. The door going into the condo had a whistle around 80% of the time. Which could have been and easy cheap fix with door trim foam. I was disappointed with the rental due to the lack of communication about getting in the condo or follow up to see about the supposed bed issue. Which there was nothing wrong with the bed. There wasn’t anything special going

The property management company was amazing. However, the hotel treated my family horribly. They refused us to eat breakfast because we did not rent from them. They harassed us to get arm bands that we had no idea about. At one point, we were locked out of our room with 3 children and they were extremely rude and told men”it was not their responsibility to help me” The management company was great in all situations. They responded to our lock out within 30 minutes, brought new towels and linens within about of requesting them and were very responsive to any questions we had through the text messaging assistance provided by them. Monterey Bay Hotel staff members are RUDE and ignorant as can be. I WOULD NEVER rent from this hotel, but would rent again from Elliot Beach rentals.

Poorly managed condo
Apartment was completely clean, floors were not clean and there was dirty wash cloth left in shower. The most uncomfortable king bed we have ever slept on and was like sleeping on a board. The pillows were not even king size pillows and the sofa bed did not have a pillow at all. The TVs are out dated and the remotes didn’t work or have a back to one or the remotes And the other remote back just fell off. There was only one blanket available. There should have been one for sofa bed and one for wall bed. The towels were not even big enough for a child to dry off with. Everything was terrible about this rental and this rental is way overcharged for May. We will never probably rent on VRBO again.
