Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program offers one free ticket from up to three partners per reservation, and additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites. Children'sen’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more! Additionally, we host an annual Wine & Cheese reception with giveaways at both Patricia Grand and Bay Watch in mid-February.This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina LLC.

Do not believe the picture as it is from the time the hotel opened 50 years ago. Building and room are decrepit. Seen better rooms at Days Inn at better prices.

The property is a little dated. They need to think about doing some upgrades

The facility is out of date. The pool area and hot tub needs to be update. Check in was okay. We couldn't it on the baloney because it smelt like pee.

Dog friendly Hotel

Our room needed an update big time. The toliet seat had discoloration on it, some rust in different places, our refrigerator/freezer had something red all over the freezer! If they see wouldve cleaned it per each guest they would’ve seen it!! It also needed to be defrosted. The floors hadn’t been cleaned, etc. I hated for my dog to walk on it & then get on our bed! Our curtains had mold or mildew on them & when the air blew it was on us!!! I was grocer out. Great view of the beach from balcony!!

Mediocre hotel

Room was clean upon arrival; however, updates are definitely needed. Although you could tell the room was clean, everything prior to entering your room looks dingy. Elevators smell like hints of urine - they’re hot, muggy and small. There’s only two elevators on the side we were on, and most times stayed quite busy - thank goodness we were only on the 4th floor and could take the stairs sometimes. It was bearable but I doubt we’ll stay here again. More than likely we will find a nice place, such as a house or condo instead - something less crowded and risky because of COVID. I will add the hotel staff at the front desk was nice and welcoming, which surely made a difference.

Overall nice

Really nice and cant complain.. Room was clean. The pool and DJ everyday was awesome.. The only negative thing is the check in check out process... There were no luggage carts at arrival or check out. The wait at the elevators was very long .. Not enough of them for size of hotel. The parking is not good.. parking garage is very tight even for cars.. All in all it was a very good visit and nothing to really complain about.

The property was a little older then expected but clean. It would have been nicer if they would of allowed early check in but instead it was a NO. The restaurant was closed until after the holiday. I would stay there again but would also review others now that I know what's around the area.
