Family weekend

Everything was wonderful! Location has been remodeled since my last stay and it is beautiful! Everything was clean. Every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious 😋. Beds were comfy and shower pressure was great. Well done!! We will be back!

Worst experience

We had traveled 3 hours and wanted to rest and when we got there the room wasn’t ready for us then we got in the room and the bed sheets were dirty in a room that had supposedly just got cleaned there was some kind of over powering smell in the whole building that made my wife sick to her stomach and the lady at the front desk seemed to be high on drugs and kept complaining about having to be at work. Not very professional and not a great experience.

Don’t do it

Really disappointed. It was super expensive for an old, run down hotel. The ratings really aren’t accurate for this. It’s an old hotel that’s been somewhat renovated. Still felt old and gross. Room floor wasn't clean. My husband even stepped on a metal wire of some sort and we had to pull it out of his foot. Luckily he is up to date on his tetanus. We only stayed overnight and that was plenty. Don’t recommend.

Being dog friendly and very clean were standouts for sure ! The staff and rooms and dining area so clean and well air conditioned. Always someone to assist ar the front desk and havimg laundry facilities a huge plus. Nice size pool very clean and outdoor view from pool makes an enjoyable atmosphere. . I highly recommend staying here

Overall we were happy with our stay here. I had high expectations based on prior reviews, and it mostly lived up to those. One item that knocked it down a bit in my book -- our room had a musty smell and it was difficult to keep cool, perhaps because of the really humid temps outside. Despite running the AC at cold temps, the room never really got cold. And it's a no smoking hotel now, but there seemed be a hint of the past with the musty smell. Also, they are currently painting the outside of the building, so our window was tarped over; therefore, you could never actually see outside -- but I know this is temporary. The black out curtains were really useful since there was a lot of light coming in through the tarped window. The free breakfast was decent. Nothing spectacular, but it's free, so it's still really nice that they are willing to prepare different menu items each morning. Location to the highway was great and there is a decent amount of restaurants right around the hotel. It got the job done for us.
