4th of July Fun

We had a blast during the Fourth of July. The community has plenty of activities for the kids. The cabin was clean and cozy. The kids enjoyed the creek. I loved the porch and gazebo area. The check-in process was easy. There were fun games for the kids to play with at night. My only criticism would be that it got hot in the loft area. We had to buy a couple of fans for the kids to stay cool at night.

Awesome Anniversary getaway

The property was awesome it was quiet and peaceful. We did go in December so it was a little cold and the water in the creek was down (no fish) but it was amazing. The cabin was awesome and cozy. Definitely will book again in the future.

Great family spot

Love the cabin - tastefully decorated and stocked with any cookware or utensils you need. The fire pit by the creek was our favorite place and enjoyed eating outside on the deck. The creek was clear and cold had small fish, crawdads, and we even saw three otters! Thank you for providing a great mountain getaway for our family

Quiet and secluded cabin right on the river. Everything we needed in a cabin experiance. Enjoyed our night by the fire and at sundown you will see bats come out to feed. How cool is that. Price is decent and do not hesitate ...book this cabin.

Almost perfect

It was tranquil, nice and clean. VERY well equiped in the kitchen. I can't stress this enough. Most vacation rentals I've stayed at it's difficult to prepare a meal because of a lack of utensils, pots and pans. Only downside was the outdoor lighting. Solar accent lighting dies by 11 PM. There appears to be a floodlight on one side of the house, but it doesn't seem functional.

Great getaway!!

We really enjoyed our stay over Christmas. The cabin was nice, clean, and cozy. I loved that it was stocked with all the essentials so we could cook dinner there. It was really cold out and the cabin stayed extra warm. The only complaint would be the lighting outside downstairs. The spotlight near the driveway wasn’t bright at all, leaving it nearly pitch black downstairs after the sun set. We made do with flashlights and headlights, but the spotlight might need replacement bulbs. We look forward to booking a trip in the future!

Lovely getaway

A cozy, comfortable cabin in a beautiful, somewhat secluded spot. Close enough to Mountain View to enjoy a Kristy House burger and ice cream and music on the square. The sound of the creek right out back was soothing. Nicely decorated with attention to comfort

This was the perfect place to have quiet time together and enjoy nature. Beautiful!

This was a great place to rent. We were truly enjoyed both the outside and nature surrounding the property and also the simple and lovely way this cabin has been done and maintained. There is a very friendly sweet dog that comes to visit from down the way, so I hope you enjoy pups! The only feedback I would say is we had to kill a lot of flies on our first day but that may have been the last renter leaving the front door open and there is no screen door? Other than that, we LOVED it and will be back!

Quiet get away

Nice quiet stay for us. Since it was August, the creek was a little shallow; but our little dog loved it. The house is nicely decorated and equipped nicely. Lots of pretty things to see around Mtn View. ❤️

Quick getaway

We rented this spot out of pure luck! It had a cancellation and we grabbed it up for the holiday weekend! It was absolutely perfect for our family! My littles had the best time playing in the creek and paddling around on the kayak. We did a couple local hikes in the mornings, and spent our afternoons being very lazy in the creek or taking afternoon naps! The cabin was equipped with everything we could need and provided the best getaway! The information provided when staying in this rental is also above and beyond! Thanks for a great stay!

Summer Getaway

We really enjoyed the Livingston Creek Camphouse. We are a family of 4 (kids 13 and 10). We stayed 5 nights and it was like home away from home. It was super clean and very modern. We had a wonderful time playing and walking in the creek, swimming, and watching the fish and crawfish. The creek is just beautiful! And the kids had a blast in the kayak that was provided. In fact, this cabin had everything! Even firewood for fires in the fire pit! One rainy afternoon we spent time on the big deck playing cards. The kids really loved “their” loft. It was nice and spacious so that they each had their own area. We went to the Blanchard Springs swimming area a couple of times, but it can be crowded. So most of our time was spent right in the creek at the cabin. It was like we had our “own” creek with no one around! The grounds were very well kept and access to the creek was awesome! Great place for a family with kids. Would love to go back there again one day! P.S. Best meal we had was at PJs Rainbow Cafe! Awesome food!

We are in love with this place.

I can’t say enough good things about Livingston Creek Camphouse. My husband and I and our two grown children and pups were looking for a weekend getaway to spend some much needed time together to reconnect and relax. The Camphouse offered us everything we wanted and more. First of all, the place is darling. It was immaculately clean and so comfortable. The decor was well thought out and super cute. We felt right at home. I love all the little thoughtful elements such as the basket of “dog creek towels” placed by the door, the shelves of game and books, the complimentary firewood, matches and fire starter. The nights were below freezing and warmed up to about 55 in the day. Perfect weather for a fire in the pit! The cabin has ample heating and easy to use gas furnace and heat pump. there were also plenty of extra blankets available for cozy lounging. We cooked all of our meals and had everything we needed. The dishes, utensils, pots and pans were all very nice quality. Our favorite part was the crystal clear creek right outside. It’s beautiful. We enjoyed watching the otter playing first thing in the morning, the nursery of trout, kayaking, the fire pit, and the list goes on. We will definitely return and are already trying to tie down dates for our next visit. Thank you for sharing your amazing place. The love and care you put into it is evident and much appreciated.

Getaway on the creek

We had a wonderful experience at the cabin on the creek. The house is very clean and comfortable, and has all the necessitates. The beds were all very comfortable, and the washer and dryer is a nice plus. There is no cell phone signal (at least on ATT) at the house, but the house does have WiFi and we were able to make WiFi calls from our phones. There is no cable or satellite TV, but the ROKU works great watch Netflix (have to have your own Netflix account) or you can view one of the free channels on the ROKU. We have a DirecTV NOW (now changed to ATT TV NOW) account, so we accessed it on the ROKU to watch DirecTV. Probably the highlight of the stay was the creek. We had a great time using the provided kayak to paddle around the stream next to the cabin (even after a heavy rain, the depth was only 2 feet at the most). We definately plan to come back!

Livingston Creek Camphouse

Mountain View was everything we hoped it would be. It was very quiet and peaceful but also within a 15-30 minute drive to a lot of the local attractions and nearby towns. We ventured out daily and returned by late afternoon to enjoy dinner and time on the back porch listening to the flowing creek as the sun was setting. We enjoyed Blachard Caverns and springs, Mirror Lake, the Old Mill and hiking on many of the nearby trails. We also went up to Norfork Lake which was beautiful. We enjoyed lunch the Angler Restaurant in Mountain View as well. Livingston Creek Camp House was amazing! It was cozy and just the perfect size for us. It was well stocked and beautifully decorated just as stated in the description. We loved every minute of our stay and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Outstanding vacation!

Our stay at this cabin lead to one of the best vacations our family has had. The cabin was wonderful and the location is outstanding. While on our stay we did various things around Mountain View, but the best part of the vacation was staying at the cabin. We have two boys ages four and seven, both boys spent several hours every evening playing, swimming , and fishing in the Creek. We saw several species of fish and my older son caught several crawfish under the rocks. Also, the cabin provided ample firewood for a continuous fire which allowed us to roast hotdogs and have Smore‘s every evening. If you are planning a vacation to Mountain View Arkansas you cannot beat this Cabin!
