A working man's motel.

Our room was adequate for our purpose, a quick overnight stay. I call this type of motel a working man's motel. There were many workman's trucks in the lot. The room could be have used a major update. The one bedside lamp didn't work, there was not enough outlets charge our devices and you had to make sure the wall switch was on. The hair dryer was missing and the room was very dark. The breakfast was very carb forward and minimal.

I wasn't expecting a cream of the crop hotel, but cleanliness and safety would have been nice! We were on the second floor and when we opened the window the wasn't even a screen. After that, we went to plug in our charger and found a old, used (we say moldy & we do have a picture of it - they say just empty) applesauce container by the bed. We would have let that good - a not even complained, but I woke in the middle of the night and stepped on a 1-inch piece of broken plastic on the floor...even a half-hearted vacuum job would have picked that up. The last straw was the next morning. My daughter was straightening the bed and found women's jewelry IN the BEDDING! It wasn't her jewelry, which make us feel like the linens were NOT changed. Management stated it could just belong to one of their staff, but with all the other filth...I doubt it!

I had such high hopes for this hotel. Their website looked and sounded so good, and they got such good reviews ( I dont know who is leaving those glowing reviews ). The entire place - lobby, hallways and rooms - is dingy and dirty. I set a plate of food on the room table and noticed something sticky. Looking closer, i found the whole table was covered by some sticky food residue. I had to clean the whole tabletop. The chest of drawers wobbled back and forth when I touched it. The carpets everywhere were dirty and stained. The bed, however, was comfortable.

If you are just passing through and need somewhere to sleep then this hotel is fine. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. They had some cute extras in the bathroom which were thoughtful. The staff were really nice too. Even though they are trying to fix up the room they still smell like years and years of people smoking in the room, basically its like staying inside an ashtray.

There was a spider problem. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay because of this. The staff was very kind and understanding and were all around helpful. They also informed us that we would be refunded and appreciate their help and their understandings .

Only if you are desperate

The hotel is outdated and filthy. Holes in the walls and doors. Stains all over the carpet in the lobby, stairway and hallways. Fruit flies in the breakfast area. All bread products were individually wrapped, and when I walked past the front desk, there was a man with no gloves individually, wrapping each piece. The room smelled musty, and the tub and toilet was stained.

The property is somewhat older on the interior than the external building would suggest. My room would have been acceptable, were it not for the off-putting smell of wet carpet that made for a challenging stay. The heating/air conditioning unit appears to be on its last legs and was incredibly noisy as well. All told, I had a very uncomfortable sleep and I can sleep through pretty anything.
