Not impressed with the changes

The room appeared to have been recently refurnished. Also new, everything seemed rather stiff and uncomfortable. The bed itself was comfortable. They also did away with having real dishes available. I do miss that. Additionally, the breakfast now is at an added cost, where it was previously included.

Exceeded my expectations

The hotel is in a part of town where you can get to multiple things easily. The room we were in must have been recently remodeled because it didn't look anything like the pictures, but it was so much better. We were very impressed with the seperate bedrooms and being able to control the temperature in each one. Beds were pretty comfy. Our views from the balconies were of the parking lot but it was still nice. We didn't have the breakfast or visit the pool, but I'm already trying to come up with an excuse to stay again.

Very nice property

We were in Mishawaka for my high school reunion and stayed at the Hilton Varsity Club. It was a good location, with lots of restaurants within blocks. We really liked our suite and used ths patio for morning coffee.

The elevator was too far from room (opposite end of hotel) so had to use stairs to load car. Also room was next to a mechanical room and was noisy from pipes all night. That being said, I had an early check in and that's the room that was available, which I appreciated.

Rooms had a kitchen area and balcony to sit which was nice. We only stayed 1 night so didn’t really use the kitchen so I don’t remember what equipment was available in the kitchen area, there may not have been a stove/oven. The sofa bed was the most comfortable sofa bed I’ve ever slept on. Breakfast was for an additional fee around $7-$8. Pool looked nice and gym/jacuzzi. It looked like there were BBQs in the courtyard outside for use. Overall this place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
