The property is nice and clean. The pool was a distance away. The beach too far. There is a lot of noise late out night from people outside in the village or balconies.

Great location , but updated

It was great, location close to the Baytowne wharf. I really liked the pool, but the TV was very small. I booked through hotels.com and it didn’t include the cleaning of carpet nor making the bed nor the dishes, I didn’t know that, just the change of trash and towels, that’s it. I wasn’t pleased with that. The A/c stopped working the last night of our stay, we were hot that night .

The front desk people were very nice and helpful. I also got a text from a virtual assistant once I checked in which was cool. However, the property was crowded, the building was messy and dated and when I checked into our room it was down right depressing. My little boy and I left and went to another hotel.

Sandestin Village not a good choice in Destin,FL

First of all the Village at where we stayed are not very clean for outside,second our room was not made every day, second its very expensive the restaurants inside the resort and for breakfast they have only 2 options, the first one is just a small coffee place with one person to take your order, prepare it and give you, the second one restaurant the waiting line is 50 minutes or so every day. At the beach you have to pay for chairs, umbrella and towels every day doesn't matter you are hosted in their resort!! There are other things I did not like but, I don't have more space to write them here. Definitely nor a good choice to stay at Destin, FL

The property from the exterior is stunning ! But it’s not as nice in the interior. It’s old and run down , the carpet and couches are so dirty full of stains ! Sheets and restroom are clean . They don’t clean your room everyday or at minimum take out the trash. They come by in the evenings when it’s really inconvenient to get the room clean because by that time you just want to relax in your room. The beach is not as clean and it’s very crowded. Go to Henderson Park! It’s a really nice beach, very clean. The best part of this resort was the night life at the wharf , they have really good restaurants and bars plus a ton of activities for kids.

I loved the variety of the unique beautiful buildings & it is very well maintained. My first visit & it won’t be my last!! It’s like a small community easy walking distance to a variety of excellent restaurants on site. The tram to the beach is awesome very friendly staff and great service!!
