Coastal Cottage is perfect for a large family or group of friends looking to make the best beach memories together. Spacious and beautifully decorated, this home has a private yard with a patio and gas grill, and is a great place to host a family barbecue. The well-equipped full kitchen features new appliances, granite countertops, and everything you might need to prepare your favorite meals. Gather in the spacious living area with new leather, reclining furniture, and a 70-inch TV. With five cable-equipped TVs in total throughout the home, you'll never be lacking in entertainment options. You and your guests may also enjoy Maravilla’s new pickleball and tennis courts, as well as shuffleboard and the two swimming pools, one of which is heated in winter.

Coastal Cottage is a stand-alone home located within the gated Maravilla Beach Resort. Maravilla’s private beach access is just a short walk away. Be sure to rent some beach chairs from the beach attendant for comfortable lounging in the sand! If you’re looking to dine out, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, with several offering beachside dining. Shop at any of the many stores of the Silver Sands outlet mall and the Destin Commons shopping center, or find that perfect beach souvenir at a local beach shop.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We enjoyed our stay very much; we made good use of the grill provided and also used the tennis court and pool on the Maravilla property; We love the location - about a 7 minute walk to the beach; we had a couple minor issues and the property manager was very quick to respond to our requests! House very unclean
Upon arrival house was not clean. Towels still in washer roach on blinds. Was not given proper beach gate code, was listed having 2 chairs and umbrella on beach but they didn't mail check so I had to pay. Tried calling vacasa multiple times without a return phone call in regards to any of the issues except for someone showing up to spray for bugs

Property was great. Just as listed. 5min walk to the beach, 10min drive from everything esle we needed. Our only issues were the water gets cold fast in showers. And we didn't get pool code from Property management. And the gate code changes our 3rd day there. Absolutely beautiful Property.

Do not book through third party companies. Look for local agents and make sure you can contact them
Clean and close to the beach, older appliances and dishes. Broken towel rack, missing kitchen knives, broken light bulb, and bare bone house. Nice location. The pictures look way bigger and spacious then the reality. The backyard does not exist. No use of the garage. No garbage can outside. The kitchen is very small. Two bathroom is not enough for a house that is supposed to sleep 11 people. The one bedroom does not have 4 single beds as it is shown in the diagram. It has two bunkbeds. Bunkbeds do not work for adults. I made two maintenance calls, one was repaired right a way and the other one took four days to be fixed. The local management team was great in answering phone calls. Do not, Do not book through VRBO. Their customer service was way less than satisfactory. I made two attempts to talk to them. Every time, I was put on hold and then hang up after an hour of being on hold. My issue was never resolved. They never attempted to contact again.

The house is located in a great place and it was beautiful...we ran into just a couple things. The TV cable box was not hooked up and caused some consternation, thank goodness we had 2 I.T. guys with us to figure it all out, and one of the sinks in the master bath was clogged and we had to unclog it! Other than those 2 things we enjoyed our stay! We had beautiful weather and plan to come again sometime in the future! We have stayed in Maravilla several times and really like the complex!!!

Family fun in the sun weekend getaway
The house was just as described in the listing. It was a short 5 minute walk to the beach and pool. The house was setup for kids and included some kids toys like legos, games and cars. This was an added bonus we weren't expecting and really appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses and cookware. Our overall experience was wonderful and we would stay again.

Great house for family vacation..
The house was very clean and lots of room for our family nice area to walk the dog... I would most definitely stay again.. The only thing that needs to be changed is the check in instructions. the codes to the gate was wrong and I had to call the office for that.

The home was spacious, very clean, well equipped, beautifully decorated and a 5-7 minute walk to the beach. Great location to shopping, restaurants and the beach.
