I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn and was disappointed with the experience. The property itself was okay, but we had an issue with the shower door in our room—it was broken and wouldn’t open or close. I called to report the problem, but no one ever came to check on it or fix it during our stay. I wasn’t offered another room or any kind of compensation for the inconvenience, which was frustrating. Unfortunately, this lack of responsiveness left me with a less-than-satisfactory impression of the hotel’s customer service. Additionally, I requested a late checkout, and they only extended it by 45 minutes. I’ve stayed at many Hampton Inns before, and they’ve always accommodated my late checkout requests with at least two extra hours. This level of service is unacceptable and does not reflect the quality I’ve experienced at other locations.
