Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. Guests are advised to check local weather and road conditions/closures with the California Department of Transportation before travel.

Mariposa Lodge stay

Very cute place in a small town outside Yosemite. Everyone was very helpful and so friendly. Gave us some great recommendations for food (thanks Theresa!). Easy drive into the park, would definitely stay again!

In may not seem like a big deal, but in a town like Mariposa where there is NOTHING to do after dark, a functioning TV is a necessity. The lady at the desk said that there was no room to transfer into, I guess because we had already moved in. Instead of watching Olympic highlights, we were staring at 4 walls. Their pool was also closed, although the temp was 102 degrees outside. Superficially, it seemed like a nice place, but there just didn´t seem to be a dedication to customer service. Disappointed.

Property is located nearby Yosemite park. This is an affordable option , but unfortunately this is the only perk. Its outdated, old , not clean, noisy, noisy air-conditioning unit. Friendly staff, walking distance to shopping, gas, food. Butget option but not woth it. I had no other opinion. Not going back.
