The property is very aesthetically pleasing and is very well maintained. However, the "amenities" are little to be desired for an establishment that calls itself a "resort". They would close the pools and restaurants with no notice as to why or when they would reopen. We wasted an entire day sitting around for the pools to be cleaned. Had we known in advance that they pools would have been cleaned on a certain day between certain hours, we could have made other plans. While the food wasn't terrible, it takes forever to get waited on and to receive your meal. The drinks are watered down and take forever to receive as well. The majority of the staff doesn't speak to you, or they are just plain rude. Isla Bella is missing the chance to have a real gem of a resort if the owners/management would learn a thing or two about customer service.

Honestly this in an outstanding property. You have to get over the resort fees / parking fees etc. this is charged everywhere in Florida it seems. (Like where else am I going to park?! So feels like an extra added tax that should just be included in the room price!) All of the staff we encountered were lovely, the pool areas (there are 4 of them!!) were clean, lovely beds, fresh towels etc. Room had a gorgeous balcony with a view of the water. For the price you seem to get a LOT of room for your money. Honestly the room was huge, with a massive bathroom with full bath too. If staying for a long time you may struggle with the size of the wardrobe (surprisingly standard size considering the size of the room) - didn’t bother us as we were living out of a suitcase for 2 nights. We moved on from this hotel to another property in Key West and wish we had stayed here longer. It’s ideally situated in Marathon which has some good attractions nearby like the turtle hospital but is also super quiet because of being on what feels like it’s own little Key. If you are debating booking here, just do it. Also recommend utilising the free bike hire and cycling the old seven mile bridge right next to it - what an experience

Why so many people like to add little fees for everything after everything is payed for full I go to anywhere and no need to pay parking fee This is sooooooo bad Stafff is great I feel bad they have to face angry costumers For no reason I been in lobby everyday they're checking out and they're always fight about the charges

The property is nice, but I believe the facility is overpriced. The beach is not the greatest, actually I didn’t see anyone going in in the 4 days we stayed. You are better off taking the trolley to Pigeon Key and going swimming there. All of the pools are small, we just used it once. Parking it’s also overpriced. They charge about 28 dollars at day for parking, aside from the resort fees. We ended up parking in the marina/marketplace area and just walk to our room. I paid over 700 dollars at night, so I wasn’t very impressed with the size of room nor the overall experience. On the other side staff was very friendly food was good and facility was clean.

The food quality and taste is average and too expensive for what it is they make you double tip the restaurant and the sender to the room when you order room service. The parking is good because it’s inside the place but it’s too expensive. The elevators need maintenance. They look new, but they sound old. The room that we receive was was beautiful because it was looking straight to the ocean, but dirty and old bathroom and the beds are king, but they fit like a queen.

Everything was wonderful, we only had on bad experience, the female weight at the main pool was not nice, not attentive, very slow. At one point she dropped a tray of beer and drinks, accidents do happen but she just walked away and left the mess sitting on the pool deck where people walk. We were very nice to her thinking maybe she was just having a bad day but so smile and many thank you got not one smile. So we just started walking up to get our drinks and food. Other than her, the trip was wonderful and the property is beautiful.
