We were very pleasantly surprised by this lovely hotel. It looked a bit smaller in the photos, but it really is sort of grand :-) it’s right on the main roundabout in town and it felt very high end and well-maintained. Little touches, like afternoon lemonade with fruit syrups, and good breakfast. We especially liked walking just one block to the new tavern/gastropub, the Biekerdyke Taproom. Will stay again.

Highly recommend!

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful inside and out. Very comfortable and the breakfast was unique and delicious.

A must stay in Mount Vernon

While this hotel looks historic, it’s actually a fairly new hotel rebuilt from the ground up to look like the original. The front desk attendants Chase and Daniel were both polite and helpful. The rooms clean, nice linens, Aveda products in room along w coffee maker. Breakfast was great with ample seating. Parking was also ample.

Nice quiet clean hotel in center of small town. Just spent a night while passing through so didn’t have time to explore the area. Free hot breakfast in morning was a plus. Spacious bathroom.

A quaint hotel in the middle of downtown, it was nice to wake up, enjoy breakfast on the front porch and have the farmers market right across the street.
