This place should not have a Best Western Plus accreditation. While the main entrance and foyer are very nice and give an impression of a beautiful place it goes downhill very fast after entering. The rooms are clean and the staff are very nice. The issue is the place is in need of serious maintenance and repair. Bathroom are old and outdated, very rusty tubs. After a 5min shower your standing in 4" of water due to poor drainage. The pool and hot tub were in terrible condition, can't see the bottom of a 4' pool (very dirty water). The arcade room is run down and only about half the games actually work. My wife used the laundry facilities and the drain overflowed and flooded the room. All we heard while there was people with very similar issues and how disappointed they where with the condition of the building/facilities.

Room had heavy weed smell in bathroom, shower fixture was poor quality, bed was not comfortable. Stayed in 310 on new years, finally able to sleep after room next door stopped yelling and playing loud music at 2:30am. Expect better from BW

Location was great! Felt safe and it was clean! Room was fine… had noisy guests above us but that is not the hotel’s fault! Breakfast was lacking and ran out before 10:00 with no intention of refilling much after 9:40… coffee was not very good

The property was advertised as having a heated indoor pool. The pool was not heated apparently the heater/filter had worked in weeks. The property never updated their website and did not notify guests as to this represented amenity not being available. They didn't even post notice at the pool area. I'm just very lucky my 3 year old didn't jump into the pool (as little kids do). The water was freezing cold! When this was discovered I went to the front desk (twice). The 2 people working there were extremely rude and dismissive. I told them the only reason we even booked there was for access to the pool (they beyond did not care and did not offer to 'walk' us to another property in the area (a common practice for hotels). They we told this was not acceptable and we left the property. They refused to provide a receipt upon our turning in the room keys and were told management was going to handle this (they didn't) so now I have to fight them for a refund! Right at the onset of making an inquiry about the state of the pool I let the front end person know that they were highly recommend by family from the area who had many functions at this property (wedding, etc.). She just didn't care. She interrupted me mid sentence and pointed at a piece of paper on the counter (off in the corner of the counter) that apparently said they were waiting on a part for the pool. This property lets anyone enter it and travel to the guests floors. This place felt like West Virginia!
