Great location, but room for improvement
Overall we had a fine stay at the condo, but I was underwhelmed compared to other Mammoth properties we have stayed at for the price. Pros - Close to the village and canyon lodge - Sufficient space for a couple and a teenager - Overall cleanliness was pretty good except some dishwear that looked questionable. - Adequate parking Cons: - The unit is very dark and the lighting is abysmal. The bedroom has one floorlamp with a mix of dim CFL and LED bulbs as well as a broken nightstand lamp that do nothing to brighten up the space. - Extra linens are haphazardly placed in the closet, some on the shelf and some on the ground. Not sure what was clean and what wasn't. -Water heater ran out of hot water during a single 5-10 minute shower (repeatedly). -Dishwasher doesn't work properly Check-in/check-out process of picking up keys offsite and having to return them offsite is far from convenient. Overall a decent stay, but the unit is far behind other similarly priced units.

Amazing Location!!
The property was beautiful and had the best location. We went skiing and were able to walk right up to the gondola in the village with no problem. The jacuzzi was very nice. Check-in and check-out were easy. I agree with other reviews saying the bedding could have been more comfortable, but it wasn't a major issue for us. I would definitely stay here again or recommend to a friend.

Nice Location
Pros: Nice location, walking distance to the village and gondola. Clean with a spacious kitchen; o issues with heating as precious guests noted. Cons: Sofa mattress wasn’t great. And walkways were dark and icy.

Perfect Spot
One of the best condos I've stayed at in Mammoth. Modern and cozy, good amenities, steps away from the village restaurants and gondola. Will definitely be returning when we visit Mammoth again.

Amazing!
The location was perfect, and the amenities were nice. The gym was a nice touch although had to pay for a day use since our names were not updated. Issue never resolved , but aside from that it was perfect. Would stay again

Cozy and Comfortable Condo, Great Location
We enjoyed our stay - the condo is cozy, comfortable, and in a great location. It's a short walk to the Village for food, shopping, and the village gondola. Check in was easy and contactless. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and waking up amongst the snow and trees. This would be ideal for anyone heading up to Mammoth for some skiing/riding.

Misleading and lack of amenities
A stretch to say that the rental sleeps 4. A queen bed and a pullout. There were also only two towels. Feels like it was bare minimum. A fine place to stay, but after taxes and fees, the amount paid was very steep price for what was offered for 2 nights. Do yourself a favor and look at one or the nearby hotels or other listings.

The Unit is NOT as advertised
We were very dissapointed with our stay in the unit. The posting says it sleeps 4. The pull out in the couch was so unbelievably uncomfortable, there is absolutely no way 2 humans can sleep on it. We ended up not being able to use it at all. This place realistically sleeps 2. That in itself is a total misrepresentation of what is being offered. Some of the windows and the whole balcony was completely boarded up with plywood. The lighting in the unit was poor to begin with and this made the unit extemely dark. Totally unaccaptable to advertise the balcony and then to have it boarded up for renters. The kitchen was also poorly stocked. To be fair, the check in instructions said we should not expect certain items, but I've never stayed at a rental that had ZERO items in the pantry. The posting should be updated to reflect it's current state.

Uncomfortable But Has Potential
Very clean, the fireplace was a plus. This condo was lacking in supplies. No sponges or brush for dishes, no can opener, no salt and pepper, no colander, no coffee filters, no smoke detectors, no hairdryer. The bed was very firm with poor fitting sheets. The walls were brown as was the ceiling that closed in the space with no artwork. I think with some dolling up this could be much better. We were not comfortable there. Katie & Scott Santa Barbara

Nice comfy place and close to everything in mammoth!
This place was perfect for our family of four. We have an 11 and 9 year old And me and the wife slept on the bed and the kids on the sofa bed And the place is comfortable and literally about a minute or less to the village , 1-5 minutes away from restaurants ( depending on what you want to eat) and it is also close to most of the lakes/ campgrounds. It is also located on the first floor . Thank you for letting us enjoy your place!

Great place with all the basics in an excellent area!
This place was perfect for a few night stay for 2-4 people. Our group was two couples. It has all the basics and gives you a little bit more than a hotel would, since it has a full kitchen. It is the perfect location, walking distance to The Village, the gondola leading to the slopes, and across the street from the brewery. We parked our car the first day, and didn't use it until we left at the end of the weekend. The bed was comfortable, a little on the firm side. I would say if you are going to sleep on the pull out couch, you should bring a memory foam or air mattress along with you. You can feel the poles and springs of the mattress. It would be nice if they provided some kind of mattress cover, but we just brought our own because we know that most pull out couches are like that. An air mattress might be more comfortable. Check in and check out were easy. Parking is no problem. I would recommend this if you aren't looking for much more than the basics and a place close to everything to lay your head at night.

Excellent property - But I thought it was pet-free
The place is well kept and clean. We enjoyed it. However, I thought it stated that it was pet-free. When we got there, our allergies (we are allergic to cats) highly acted up. It was clear that perhaps the prior tenant had brought one or more cats with them. We had to take allergy medicine the entire time. Otherwise, a very nice place. Dan

Great spot! Adequate for 3 people, 4 if it's 2 couples. Location was prime in relation to access to the village, short walk to the gondola. Thank you!!

Close by to Canyon Gondola, Canyon Lodge, and town.
My wife and I found this place in very nice shape. Bedding was comfortable, as was the living space. I’d like to see the owner place a window covering over the family room window and supply a hair dryer to their guests.

Rustic, needs some minor upkeep and totally new bed and sofabed
The sofa sleeper was uncomfortable as expected, but the bed in the bedroom was also quite awful. A couple of walls need patching/paint. Plenty of hot water that comes out relatively fast since the heater is in the unit. The bathroom was fine, but the heater in there didn't work. The heat in the bedroom and living area were both adequate. The kitchen has 2 skillets, a large pot, a tiny pot, a set of dull knives, utensils, flatware and dishes (knives, forks, spoons, glasses, plates, bowls) for 8, a set of plastic mixing bowls, 2 large sized plastic storage containers that look like someone else left them because one is rubbermaid and the other is gladware, and a coffee maker. It did not have a vegetable peeler (we bought one and left it there), foil, plastic wrap, a colander, blender, or a medium-sized pot. The dishwasher left a residue on the first wash so we had to double wash. There is a rickety vacuum cleaner in case you need it, and a small broom but no dustpan. Plenty of blankets and pillows. The description says hardwood floors, but it's fake wood. All in all, it served its purpose, but we would not choose this unit again because of the beds. For our 5 night stay, we were well stocked with scratchy toilet paper and tissues and 3 rolls of paper towels. The towel exchange went smoothly, and the office staff were nice.

Nice Stay...
The unit was clean. The bedroom is nice sized, along with one bathroom and separate dressing area. The unit was quiet with nice views of the forest. We were in town for a music festival and this unit could not have been better for that purpose. Was able to walk to and from the festival grounds! One thing to note, the unit is dark. Could use better lighting and windows could be cleaner which may help letting light in. If ceilings were painted white, that could help as well. This is a bottom floor unit which backs up to the forest, windows (no screens) and sliding doors could be much more secure. All in all, nice stay and convenient location.

Great Place - Close to Eagle
This spot is a real gem!! Totally walking distance to Eagle - unless you are 7 and your parents want you to carry your own skis (I mean, kids can do it, they just might complain the whole way). But the pool, hot tub, sauna after (and right off the balcony) make up for the "long" walk. Supposedly the pool isn't heated but my kids went in it, along with some other kids who were around. The actual apartment is clean and well designed, has everything you need. Even has a dishwasher!!

Good location but poorly furnished and angry neighbors not being managed by complex manager.
We were so looking forward to our stay at this place based on reviews and word of mouth. We arrived late and the unit was freezing cold, in fact it took a day to heat up. There was only one blanket so we gave it to our kids so they would not get sick and we shivered through the night. Next day we wanted to make pasta and there wasn't even a pot, so we bought one and mammoth reservations refunded us but it was still a hassle to go to the store. Worst thing was on the last night, there was little parking because snow removal wasn't done properly so I had to park sideways so other cars could get through. Next morning my car had a note saying FU, a huge pile of snow on the windshield and the layer of ice on the windshield. I had to get buckets of hot water to thaw out the windshield and wipers. Ruin my morning and my experience at the place. I spoke to the manager and told him if there was a problem someone could have knocked on my door as the unit number was on my parking tag. He told me that he knew who it was and they were angry people. I never stay there again!
