Aspen Creek is a great location for a mountain getaway. Snowboarders and skiers will love the short walk to Eagle Lodge and the Eagle Express chairlift. Summer adventurers have a variety of activity options too. Restaurants or shopping in Mammoth Village, the Snowcreek Golf Course, and numerous hiking or biking paths are just a quick car ride away.

The kitchen has all the appliances any chef could need to prepare meals. A formal dining table is steps from the kitchen. A mudroom perfect for storing your ski and snowboard equipment is located near the front of the home.

Couches and chairs circle the 56" Smart TV (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+) with regular cable. Turn on the fireplace (wood provided) and get cozy while watching a movie with the family. You will feel right at home with wireless internet. The couch also functions as a sofa sleeper for additional sleeping space. Open the sliding glass doors to catch a breath of crisp air and take in the partial mountain view. A rug and 2 chairs are provided here.

The kitchen has all the appliances any chef could need to prepare meals. It includes: full set of Cuisinart knives, double toaster, blender, crock pot, Lodge cast iron dutch oven, non-stick pans, cheese grater, pyrex baking dishes, Cuisinart coffee maker, large cutting board, and more!

The master bedroom has a comfortable California King bed and a desk for any remote work needs. There is an attached private bathroom and vanity area. The large second bedroom is great for the kids. This room is furnished with 2 Twin over Full bunk beds with brand new mattresses (March 2021). There is also an attached private bathroom and vanity area. This room is so large that it also has 2 comfortable swivel chairs for a nice hang out spot!

Underground parking is available for 1 car (garage height 7'1"). Laundry facilities and elevators are in each building. The shared condo BBQ stations, picnic areas, and a swimming pool only open during the summer. The 3 hot tubs are open year round. Some of the condo amenities like the hot tub will not be available due to COVID.

**We highly suggest purchasing Travel Insurance during the winter season when weather and road conditions can be unpredictable. Please check the Division of Traffic websites and travel at your own risk. Without the purchase of Travel Insurance, your Vacation Home Rental Reservation cannot be canceled due to poor weather conditions.**

Nice stay very close to ski access
Great location walking distance (5 min) to Eagle Lodge. Parking was easy with underground lot tall enough to fit Thule on top of SUV. Our room had all the amenities with the exception of a hair dryer :(. Rooms have some wear and tear but overall clean. Would stay again.

Easily solved issues.
On the minus side: * The arrival instructions emailed to me had the wrong wifi info. Thankfully at some point I looked at the actual router and noticed that the info on the sticker was different, and that worked. * If the advertised amenities list includes a fireplace, there should be firewood. After getting comfy, I went to start a fire, only to look on the deck and see an empty rack. So I got dressed again and drove to the Grand Welcome office, where I was told that I would need to go buy my own at the supermarket. $49.40 that I should not have had to spend. *The heater in the master bathroom does not work. On the plus side: * Location is good. I stayed in another Aspen Creek building a month ago, and this one is conveniently close to the exit to the street if you are walking to Eagle. *Very spacious *The fireplace is open on 2 sides, so assuming you have wood to burn, it is nice.

Convenient Location, clean
I stayed here with my 3 teenagers and one of their friends. Overall, nice place walking distance to Eagle Lodge. Condo was clean. Furniture is old and kind of dated but did the job. Check in is a bit of a pain because you have to stop at the rental agency in town to pick up the keys before going to the condo. Covered parking was a huge plus with all the snow. The kitchen and bathrooms are both dated, but everything worked. Bring your own ground coffee for the first morning as there is none provided, though that is something usually provided in the other VRBO rentals I have stayed in. Overall, decent, clean, and convenient location

Great Family Condo Close to Lift!
Great location, less than 5 minute walk to Eagle Lodge/Lift. Property was well maintained and clean. Did find some dishes and utensils not really clean but not uncommon in vacation rental and we wash everything before using regardless so not a big negative. Need to pick up keys in town which is a minor hassle. Majority of other units in building had lock box which would be more convenient. Instructions received from management company (Grand Welcome) had 2 different addresses for unit located in different buildings with directions to park in wrong building so read these closely and call to clarify if any questions. If you have a high roof vehicle (over 7'4") you will not be able to fit in the garage and there are only a handful of non-garage spots available on the property. Overall a good experience we rate a 4+ and we would definitely stay again.

great location
great location to eagle lodge, about a 5 minute walk. was very happy with the size of the condo, rooms were spacious and we enjoyed being able to sit with everyone in the living room by the fire. the kitchen has everything you need if you plan on cooking. it could be cleaned better as there was crumbs on the floor and the kitchen drawers were kind of dirty. also the bathtub floor in the bunk room is incredibly slippery and could use a anti slip mat.

Well equipped and cozy condo. Loved the fireplace and all the firewood. Watched the sunset over Mammoth mountain from the sunroom/wood porch. Short walk to chair lift. I would stay here again.

Perfect location for a ski vacation
The condo was very spacious and comfortable and close enough to Eagle Express to walk with our skis. Our family of four was comprised of dad, mom, and two adult sons. Our sons had their own room with large beds and the living room had plenty of room for dining, playing games, and relaxing around the fireplace. The kitchen was well-equipped and we prepared most of our meals in the condo. Vons and Grocery Outlet were a short drive away. I would stay here again!

Great location
This property is very nice and is walking distance to Eagle. The unit is on the first floor, so you only have to walk up one short flight of stairs if you don't take the elevator. Unfortunately, you hear every step that your neighbors upstairs take. All night and all morning. The mattresses are very comfortable. Only some minor negatives- kitchen utensils, pots, pans and hot pads could use some help. Some furniture was breaking down and the refrigerator is cool not cold. Had to throw out some food. Hopefully these will be fixed soon. Even with these few cons I would definitely stay here again.

While dated, the condo was clean, comfortable and plenty of space for a family of 3. Walking distance to slopes - just a 5 minute walk to Eage lodge. Master shower did not have hot water, so used the guest shower after taking the first lukewater shower.

Decent with close proximity to Chair 15
The unit was clean and does need some upgrades. It had lots of space with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms/showers are great to have. During our stay, there were loud guests above us. Sounded like people walking about the rooms in boots and marching all about that unit through the night disturbing normal sleep, even when tied from all day skiing/snowboarding. We had a couple of minor issues and informed the management company on departure. They were sorry and took care of these things. It was a good value for the location.

Great location, outdated
This is a solid 3 star place. It had most of what we needed for a family of five. It's outdated but as clean as can be. The walk was short but a bit too much for our 5 year olds with their ski equipment. They were fine without. One or two more pans for cooking would really be helpful. There was only one of a good size. The others were too small to use for much. Adding some flexible cooking utensils would be helpful as well. They are all metal which will scratch all the nonstick pans. It was hard to cook. Other than that we would stay here again.

Pros: Spacious, clean, close to the slopes, good customer service. Cons: Unit needs to be updated, master bathroom shower lacks hot water (rest of the unit is fine), no central heating, TV in master bedroom not working, lock box for keys is not located on the premises. All in all, decent unit for the price. However, there is definitely room for improvement.

Comfortable unit,but....
Unit was very clean, and exactly as promised in description. With some tweaking, unit could be five stars. First, in the master bedroom windows could not open, and t.v. Would not work. It was summer and warm, so we wanted fresh air as it was warm. In the living room, window did open after much jiggling, however the screen to the porch was off the track, and so when we had window open there w as no screen. In second bedroom the t.v. Didn't work either. The furniture was old and tired, and the beds particulary are ready to have non-saggy mattresses. Having only 1 parking place for 2 couples was a little frustrating, as we jiggled cars in the garage, though no issues there. Lastly, you could very easily hear all movement from the above unit as they walked, as well as their plumbing. The units must have been built without good insulation. On. quiet residential street, and close for skiing. For price paid for this unit, I think I will try somewhere else for my next Mammoth rental.

Spacious, comfortable condo close to the Eagle lift.
While Aspen Creek and the condo are a bit dated and tired, this is a good choice for all expect those who hope for 5* luxury at 3* prices! The condo is surprising spacious (bigger than similar condos in Eagle Lodge) with a lovely large master and acceptable, if not exciting, bathrooms. Wifi and TV all work well. Heating and fire all fine. So overall this is a good budget choice for those who want a more cost effective solution than Eagle lodge and do not mind a short walk to/from the slopes.
