Location is excellent, facilities are good, despite the bathroom is outside, the security box wasn’t working and got lost 2 euros, asked for my money back but not happened, overall is a very good option for staying in the center of Madrid.

ZERO STARS - Worst Stay Ever
The room pictured and the actual room provided was much smaller, the walls are paper thin and you can hear literally everything from the hall and adjacent rooms, you can hear a pin drop, the is by far the noisiest hotel room I have ever stay in. The room seemed clean enough but everything was run down. Check-in was difficult, I received an email after booking stating I needed to call before arriving as there is no check in desk, there is no services whatsoever in this hotel. After waiting what seemed forever, a Spanish woman appeared and could barely speak English, she used google translate to talk to me, I would later find out she is also a maid. I received the keys from her and proceeded to have the worst stay of my entire life, I've travelled the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels, I'm a 59 year old man.

Excellente locations but needs many changes.
The hotel is in an excellent location, steps for anything. But, althought the hotel is inexpensive and I wasn't looking to find anything fancy, the hotel needs some important improvements to make any stay more comfortable. One chair for three people, one small table in whole room, no dresser or any other space to put luggage on. Two oulets in all room (one of them used with the fridge). Private bathroom out of the room, which is a con too.

Room was comfortable and large enough. Staff was friendly. I like how they included earplugs, though it was fairly quiet anyways thankfully. Excellent value would definitely stay here again. Only thing i would comment for improvement the building stairways are really dark in evening and theres no automatic light sensor, you have to press the button on each landing.

Very good choice
As a last minute booking we couldn't be more pleased with our choice. Small but comfortable room and private bathroom, there was an extra bed in the room but we were just 2 so it stayed empty. Everything appeared to be clean and room service came everyday. Warm water in the bathroom came right away and never failed. Small balcony with AC unit and one can't open the window all the way, so not better than to lean outside and get a feel of the surroundings. Location is great, one step out the door and you're right in the heart of Madrid, in a busy shopping street and close to Gran Via, perfect whether you're there for touring or for partying until late night. Staff was very friendly at check-in and we basically never ran into them again, so you have your privacy. Price was also very nice for such top location and conditions. No noise complaints at any time of the day, barely heard other guests besides the occasional conversation in the corridor. Since it's a shopping street, everything's closed at night so you don't have noise from bars\clubs or drunk people and you can rest peacefully if you so desire, even when our room overlooked the street. Will definitely be recommending this place to anyone visiting Madrid in the future.

It’s a simple hotel, in the middle of Madrid. If I go back on a budget I’ll definitely will book again there. Friendly staff, confortable room.
