The property had a strong smell in the room. not enough light outside of the room. The room size is so small, hardly any space to place luggage/cloths.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed at!! The stairs going up to the door was broken and no hand rail. There were not enough towels and no wash cloths. The beds were broken down. The bathroom door was destroyed on the inside. The bedroom was so small you had to walk sideways to get into the bed. The cabins were so close together our view was the back of the cabin in front of us which was literally 6 feet from our front door. The entire experience was awful!!!!

The outside of the cabins looked very cute. The blinds on the bathroom had mold on them. The shower had nowhere to put soap, razor, etc. The inside was dark and small.

Disappointed and over priced

Very disappointed because what I thought I was booking based off what the pictures showed was not what I thought we were getting! I thought I was getting a cabin and that it was on the beach! We spent way more than what I thought it was worth! The room looks like the 80’s all over again. The bathroom had someone else’s hair on the floor when we first got there. Gross! Sad because I love Mackinaw City and all of the employees I spoke with were great!

The room was not very clean. Cobwebs and bugs in the window. Loud air conditioner Bathtub needed re-caulking because of mildew. Up graded our 2queen bed room to a cabin that slept 4 to get a clean room. Cost of over $200 more a night.

Not what we wanted, but not horrible

We had 3 basic rooms. We expected cabins based on the photos but it was a motel with wood paneling. It was a place to sleep. Pros: The curtains weren't terrible, the beds weren't terrible and seemed clean enough. Discount ferry tickets. Short walk to public beach. Cons: The showers were too short for the average adult to use them. The floor felt perpetually damp. No breakfast. There was a plunger randomly sitting outside one of the rooms for the first two days, which wasn't a problem but was sort of indicative of the attitude of the place. One of the rooms had been more recently renovated, but the other two had thick coats of dust on their air conditioning units and they had the filter lights lit and didn't work very well or adjust easily. I wouldn't stay there again and it wasn't worth the price.

Cute cabin

Cabin was cute. Not nearly as big as I thought it would be. Thought we would have one with the loft area and spiral staircase. It served the purpose for one overnight and would stay there again.
