The location was great! And at least one staff member was very friendly and helpful. There were stains on the carpets on the corridors and a funky smell in the lobby. The room was boiling hot when we got there and took hours to cool down. The bathroom mirror doesn’t have sufficient lighting for shaving or make up. And if you don’t put a sign on your door that you want the room cleaned they won’t automatically do it. And I was not informed of this. Which is very annoying. Also the pillow where super thick and hard to sleep on.

The listing on expedia is incorrect. There is no onsite parking. Its either street and pay or patking garage. Staff was excellent, clean, convenient and easy to walk to many sites.

The stay was fine. The room did not have shampoo, conditioner. It had a very small multi use gel. Had to ask for hand soap, was not supplied. People at front desk were very helpful. The hotel is very well situated. Metro close by.

The rooms are poorly designed with the toilet and shower easily visible through a glass wall. I'm baffled why there isn't a curtain or something to allow some privacy for people using the bathroom. I guess it's supposed to be hip, but I can't imagine who would like this design.

Beware hotels won't give you ac unless you fight
Interesting use of top floor space- they put an upper level sleeping loft. Best layout for a family. We were provided a tea kettel and tea, but no coffee in the room. Toiletries and towels were ok, not as nice or abundant s other hotels. Staff is cute but inexperienced. Our originatal room lacked AC. we were told that the people before us didn't complain. Then that the desk sees it is on and set to 16*. I said if it's 16*, I'd be shivering!!! I was sweating! She finally came up and agreed it was hot and changed our room. Breakfast was not nice with no fruit, powdered scrambled eggs and did not have glutten free anything. This is the second hotel in Portugal that this AC thing happened. They act like I'm stupid and don't believe me that it's hot. The temperatures are controlled by the staff, not the guests. Staff sees that the room is set to reasonable temperature, then argued that it's cool. Then excuses... it's a hot day ,(duh, that's why i got a place with ac!) The sun has been shining into the room (the blinds are all closed). You need to wait a bit for the room to get cool. (Over an hour should suffice). After a while in both cases someone finally came to the room and felt that, yes, it's hot! And then changed our r You must fight for comfortable temperatures. I understand Europe doesn't love AC, but these newly made hotels have been designed with it. The old way a to have cross ventilation and FANS. OK on warm, not hot days. But these rooms don't even have that.

All I can say is this place was dirty. The carpet looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for YEARS. The chairs were gross. I felt like I needed to wear shoes around the room and shower slippers. For the price, it was so underwhelming. The location is great, but they can do a better job of cleaning their rooms. I would never come back nor will i recommend it to anyone else.

Nice Hotel & Great Staff.
It’s not the Ritz but is perfect for travelers not wanting to over spend on a hotel they will only sleep in. Great centralized location making most places to see walkable. Check in was easy. Reception staff has been extremely courteous and helpful. Lobby was simple but nice. Room was basic and met our needs. Window would not lock but being on the 3rd floor, I still felt safe. I would stay here again.

Great location, 1 win walk from subway station! Shopping district and close to the water! Staff was also wonderful and helped us whenever we needed anything. Only downside is the room is really out dated. Shower head kept falling down. Although the room was big, it needed alot of updates. If its a place just to sleep, its perfectly fine. Do not expect a quiet sleep since the hotel is located across a bar (which we knew). 4/5

Easy check in. Very clean room. Staff were nice and helpful. It is in a perfect location in the middle of everything, but there isn’t any noise at night time. The only downside is there was no view from my room.

Excellent location, Good Hotel
We spent a week here and truly enjoyed our time. Yes, we would return to the hotel. Convenient: The hotel is close to most tourist destinations. It’s two blocks from R. Augusta, a popular pedestrian thoroughfare from the Praca de Comercio on the water to the Praca Dom Pedro IV that features plenty of restaurants and shops. Noise: Rooms facing the street can get a bit noisy. After the first night, the receptionist kindly moved us to a much quieter room. Everything was good after that. Accommodations: The bed and pillows were like new and comfortable. The bathroom was a decent size and featured plenty of hot water. The room was a good size for two people and we did not feel cramped or confined. Attentive: Since we did not speak Portuguese, the receptionists spoke English and Spanish with us. They were friendly and helpful. You have the option to ask housekeeping to clean the room each day, which we did. They did a good job. Accessibility: Stay Hotel has relatively good accessibility for people with limited mobility, including a ramp to enter the hotel and an elevator. There were no visible interior obstacles that would hinder accessibility. Remember, Lisbon is a historic city so the streets and sidewalks may present challenges for people with limited mobility.
