In a nutshell: - Location: excellent. Close to metro, good area. - Air conditioning: excellent - strong. - Price point: average - you can likely find a more impressive property within the same vicinity at a similar price point. - Service: average with poor problem solving skills/attitude - Property condition: at best average (e.g. ripped curtains, worn out chairs but had renovated bathrooms) - Comfort: below average We had some minor issues with the room that snowballed over the course of our visit. The shower would take a long time to heat up, the toilet flush was poor, bathroom door wouldn't close properly, noise would carry through in the morning before 9am by housekeeping, etc. What left us with a bad impression was there was ultimately a disruptive problem with the toilet - it wouldn't flush and you could hear the water leaking very loudly. Long story short, we were led to believe it was being fixed but it wasn't, eventually learnt that it could not be fixed until the next day after waiting 2+ hours. Ultimately my husband and I had to proactively offer to change rooms even if it meant to be downgraded. The situation should have been managed with more professionalism, proactivity and a solution and less of a goofy nonchalant attitude by the night receptionist. Anyway, probably just our bad luck with the room and service and when there aren't any problems that arise, the hotel is fine to stay at (for the right price point). I however would never stay here again.

Staff were fantastic! Nice size room. We paid extra to have breakfast, it was lovely. Beautiful bar and sitting area off of the main restaurant which was overlooking the street. The food was delicious!

Friendly staff, well appointed and clean, comfortable rooms and beds. Lovely breakfast, nice bar and restaurant, though we mostly dined outside hotel. Be aware- no wash clothes provided. If you like wash clothes for bathing bring one, many hotels we stayed at did not have them. They did offer a nice array of toiletries otherwise though. Great fun walking down avenue to all the vendors along Liberadade. Taco Loco Mexican restaurant nearby was AMAZING, favorite restaurant of our 2 week stay, went 3 times! Small, arrive early for a table.

The staff was so incredibly friendly and welcoming! They genuinely cared about your experience and did everything they could do to make it great.we arrived super early from a 0 Dark:30 flight and the front desk woman(I never caught her name) swiftly got us into our room about eight hours early! She was so sweet and when we saw her later, said “Did you get some sleep?” She also suggested a great driver and private tour. The hotel was very quiet and. Lean with a comfortable bed and excellent breakfast.
