The hotel has real character and the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the downstairs lobby was a great area to relax, chat and have a drink between the sightseeing. Strongly recommended.

Everything was amazing! ALL of the staff who worked here were just wonderful - so kind and helpful and welcoming, they couldn't do enough for us. We felt welcomed, we felt safe, and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is the perfect location, breakfast was 10/10 and we absolutely loved our room. Literally nothing to find fault with at all. I just wish we could have stayed for longer!

Hotel is in an okay but not great part of Lisbon. Rooms are large but not well appointed. A/C was turned off for “winter” but our room was hot and opening windows did not help as there is no breeze off the courtyard and no fan in the room. No USB chargers in the room is not good. Shower valve is bizarre and alternatively blasts you with hot and cold water without warning. I would rate this a 3 star hotel pretending to be more.

The staff were very friendly. We arrived early to the hotel and check in starts at 3pm. The receptionist I forgot her name :( but she speaks 3 languages and 1 of them is French. Anyway she made sure our room was priority to be cleaned so that it would be ready for us. Thank you for that.

What a lovely hotel, tucked a little off the beaten track but still within a short walk of the main square. There are bus stops nearby and the special tram service stops right outside the hotel. Our flight had been cancelled and we arrived after hours but there were good instructions of how to get in and find our room. The room was huge, clean and really comfy. The toiletries are worth a mention as they are Rituals and just so nice. The desk staff were so warm, friendly and full of good advice. They deserve top marks. The decor throughout the hotel was really nice. Breakfast was delicious and a but different every day. I would love to go back again.

From the moment we walked into this boutique hotel, we were both impressed. Tessa, the person who welcomed us was very friendly, accommodating and made the check-in process easy. In fact, Tessa was outstanding throughout our entire stay, providing excellent suggestions, tips and recommendations that made getting around the city easy and directed us to a wonderful culinary experience in Lisbon. All the staff were pleasant and we would recommend the breakfast. There is also a supermarket next door that is very convenient and many restaurants within minutes of the front door. highly recommend this hotel and look forward to our return.

We had a lovely week at Dear Lisbon Gallery House. The weather wasn’t great but the team at Dear Lisbon had their own brand of sunshine. Everyone was so helpful but a special shout out to Tess and JP who went the extra mile every time. The team who made up the rooms were exceptional and the buffet breakfast was varied with something for everyone. Although the famous tram 28 is not running past the hotel there are buses and Uber was a reasonable alternative. I would recommend this niche boutique hotel as well worth staying in for sightseeing in beautiful Lisbon.

Almost Perfect stay. Although breakfast was minimal still worth the early morning ride. Staff all friendly professional and helpful. Rooms were typical European size but this one had an outdoor patio that was such a treat! My only disappointment, I made the mistake of wearing one of the robes and had bug bites in the morning. Don't know what type of bug but I would steer clear from using them.

Wonderful 4 day stay in Lisbon
Beautiful classic hotel, located on a cable car line. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast (included) was quite good. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this property for either a short and extended stay in Lisbon.

Located in a great area in the older part of Lisbon, close to places like the Timeout Market and other tourist centric areas. This place felt more like a boutique hotel/bnb rather than a typical hotel. The interior was stylish, and staff hospitable. I particularly enjoyed the rotating daily selection of breakfast in the morning, but wish it opened up earlier than 8am. Depending on the room it can get lots of noise from the street level. The rooms, while nice were very dark (not enough lighting) and didn't have USB charging which I found surprising for this tier of hotel. We were also not allowed to eat or drink in the room due to the "new carpets".

Amazing Breakfast and Friendly and Helpful Staff!
What sets this place apart from the rest is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. This was our first time to Lisbon and they were SO helpful! The room was clean and worked out great. And the breakfast was the best breakfast I've ever had that came with the stay. So much variety and I just can't say enough about how nice the staff was! The only small downside was the location was a bit off the beaten path, but sometimes that is nice! Maybe a 15 minute walk to the main parts of town. You won't regret staying here!!
