Upon arrival I was a bit confused by the Outrigger and Kauai Villas as they sit side by side. Counter staff was friendly and welcoming. Good to see that we could use the Outrigger's three pools and restaurant but unknown why we couldn't use their gym.
Arriving to the room, the view out the sliding window was breathtaking; direct view of ocean waves crashing; it was phenomenal.
The room itself looked to be a timeshare that was converted into a vacation villa. Furniture was a bit outdated like other reviewers said but it was furnished and had everything we needed to live there; IE Washer Dryer, Kitchen.
We did find a hair or two in the towels, as if they were not washed and just rehung up. Best thing about having a washer and dryer.
Parking was always steps away from the villa and it was very quiet. Walking to the beach every morning for exercise was fantastic! Then lounging by the pool until lunch time. Then off to explore a planned adventure.
Only worry we really had is staying healthy and no slip accidents. There was a puddle leading to the Villa pool that had biofilm growth. Me and my wife almost slipped and died. Quite troubling.
The restaurant next door had a fantastic fish wrap! I must say...
All in all a great stay. We will definitely be back.
