This historic building has both charm and quirks due to its age, but it's perfect for budget-conscious travelers seeking a cozy, clean, and warm stay.
The studio features ultra-fast WiFi and a desk, making it ideal for work or streaming. The small, functional kitchen is equipped with essentials like an oven, stove, fridge, sink, plates, glasses, silverware, and a coffee maker.
Rest well in the comfy queen bed with a 12-inch memory foam mattress, and enjoy provided sheets and towels. A small bathroom and shower are available, complete with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Located on the second floor, you'll need to climb one flight of stairs to access the unit. It's perfect for hikers, backpackers, and skiers seeking a comfortable and convenient base for their adventures.

Ample parking available on Poplar Street; diagonal parking on 8th Street across the building
During heavy snow, watch for snow removal signs to avoid violating temporary parking rules or getting towed
Trash: Use the 3 green Waste Management bins on the North side of the building; kindly clean up after pets and dispose of trash properly to prevent odors and messes.
Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants.
Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking.
