Hotel is getting very tired.
I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. This was my most disappointing visit for sure. There is automated check in at kiosks (no people except a couple to help you if you have issues)- it worked adequately but it is really telling about the level of service you can expect from a front desk. The elevators - out of 8 it seemed at best 3 were working (only one had Out of Order but it was consistently the same elevators running over an entire weekend. The carpets in the hallways are all bunched and showing their age. The rooms are large so that is a bonus but I paid extra for a view of the the Bellagio fountains. The view consisted of only being able to see the very corner of the fountains; thru very dirty windows. The windows are old and not sound proof and leaves the room very warm if the curtains are not closed during the day. The room was relatively clean but the area around the garbage can in the bathroom needed attention (stuff stuck to the walls). Great location, but for the price I expect more. This will be my last stay at this hotel unless it gets a major overhaul.

Bad experiences. I paid total over $1k for 4 nights. 1. they charged early check-in fees. Even I arrived at 1:30pm. They still charged me or I had to wait till 3pm. Not negotiable. A long line, the clerks were not eager to help. 2. the room was not clean. I can still see the fabrics on the floor, proving they were not vacuumed. 3. noisy AC when it starts and stops with a cranking sound. 4. the chair was worn out already. The leather was broken on the chair back. I asked a housekeeper to replace it on my first day, nothing happened. 5. I was charged with $20 parking, which was not mentioned in my booking. 6. I am only allowed to have two devices to use the internet and the speed was only 20mps. Additional ones require additional fee of about $15 per day per device same slow speed. 7. I checked out at 10:30am but still got charged with late checkout fee, which is $30+. 8. the pool was closed most of the days except Saturday. this was not mentioned in my booking either. 9. no receipt no email communication. I had to call to get my folio by email. In conclusion, I am very upset by their poor management and facilities. The front desk lady helped me make a new key while I left both my keys in the room. She was nice and friendly. That is the three stars for her. Otherwise, I will leave this horseshoe 2 or 1 star only.
