Wolfjaw is always an amazing stay and never had any issues in the past, stayed over 5 times and will continue regardless. Was a tad disappointed with this particular unit, the Alpine Suite, the screen netting was broken or missing in numerous windows so flies had an easy time coming in. Toilet paper roll had all but 7 squares left and no replacement. And the corners along the floors were rather dusty. The AC was working but the room was quite stuffy. Not sure whats up with this unit, all the others never had an issue.

Cute, clean, convenient little motel

Nice find! Stayed here because our usual place was booked, and it turned out to be great, Simple, clean, comfy room, everything we needed for a one night stay. I'd stay here again.

Hidden Gem

We had a great time with our family. Our 19-year-old was in love with the fact that the stay was equipped with an Xbox. Had a yoga can of feel which I love. It would have been an added bonus if you could have a recycling bin and a place to hang your bath towel. Wewentdown thestreet and jumped off the rocks with others!

This is a perfect option if you just need a place to lay your head down at night with shower amenities. Two queen beds and a quiet, peaceful area. The drive into Lake Placid is an easy and picturesque 15 minutes away! I’d like to suggest screens on front window, as we enjoy fresh mountain air, without letting flies in! Easy self check-in and check-out. We enjoyed our 4 night stay!

Overall Beautiful

The stay was overall amazing. Beautiful room, great amenities, and easy access to room. There were one or two things that disappointed me with the cleanliness. Though it was overall very clean, one of the white towels had a brown smudge on it and the coffee pot was not cleaned. We get in late and only stayed one night, so we did not have time to notify them (I'm sure they would rectify the issues).

The room was good, smaller than expected, based on the pictures. Obviously newly renovated and in a good clean condition. The lack of onsite staff was a little annoying, sonce my wife and i had driven 5 hours and couldn't get in until our appointed time. It would have been nice to check in a little early if the room was available. If you are looking to do the tourist spots this is a nice central area.
